Default I think I could have been the latest victim?!

I am so glad that I was able to stop this Mr. Dave Paul from trying to obtain money from me. The pictures that he sent me did not match his voice and I am no expert in voice recognition, but I know enough UK citizens to know that the accent that Mr. Dave S. Paul was talking to me was not English! It sounded more of a Cayman or Western African.

He used many sentimental enticements to try to get me to fall for him but fortunately I kept telling to myself it is too good to be true-- and you know what? IT WAS!!! I found the flattery was ok, but I know deep down inside that no one in their right mind would marry someone they havent even met-- which the supposed Mr. Dave s. Paul was trying to do.

My fair warning is this-- and especially to the ladies out there in dating sites: DO ALL your research on the potential mate...DO ask a lot of questions...DO be selfish-- think about it-- it is your money and if you worked hard like I do why should you part with it. If Dave Paul was a good business man and had a MASTERS degree he would not ask any money from anyone, period! It is just common sense!!!

Also, for the ladies...DO test the man out-- if he gets defensive and persistent about asking money, like creating urgency-- stand your ground! If he supposedly have feelings for you he should respect the fact that you said NO initially and not ask money from you in the first place!

I wish I could have known this forum sooner, but luckily I caught myself from making any BIG mistakes. PLEASE USE YOUR HEAD!! If you have any doubts ask counsel from close friends who can smell the "fishy-ness" in Mr. Dave Paul's stories..

..The only regret is if the real man in the pictures is a victim of identity theft I would love to speak to him truly about what happened-- how the Nigerian-sounding individual posing as a Mr. Dave S. Paul was able to compose a total fantasy guy for me.

I wish you the best in deterring yourselves from FRAUDS and SCAMS. Farewell!
