It's NOT a big deal to everybody...........
Quote:
"Most of the investors that I have talked to, insist that Andy will work it out and that they are just fine"
-Until this changes, I would not expect the AG to respond aggresively. In fact, until this changes, almost nothing else matters. It could be too late anyway, but I bet there are still at least a few assets available, like convertible Corvettes.
Quote:
"bigger crimes than people knowingly agreeing to have their mortgages paid"
-Ok, but that's not a crime unless there is proof of deception (appraisals) or non-disclosures on the HUD-1, mortgage app, etc. I'm STILL the guy saying "its NOT about the mortgages" and I have no doubt that numerous problems could be uncovered IF the AG were to take this problem seriously, but everything I see says aggressive prosecution of this whole program is not a high priority at all.........see the 1st quote above. Many of us not in the program are more outraged than any of the "investors" from what Ive seen, and that includes you Re-founding Mother as being a victimized stakeholder. So, I think the gov't just wants the activity to cease and the prosecution is an afterthought. Still nothing from the gov't about charges against any of the enablers (realtors, appraisers, BIG and small mortgage companies). I know I'm repeating myself, but its a new forum, so forgive me.
