We are trying to increase visibility to this matter (see Posting guidelines)as it of the most importance. The Title of the posts should most reflect what somebody looking for the scam on the internet might type into a search engine. As suggested and discussed:

For Lottery archives name of the lottery

Employment archives: company name and/or General sender's name.

419Emails: Email Title

Please make other suggestions so that they can be added to our posting guidelines.

As for multiple posts on the same topic. I assume that some of these are created as the user did not find the original posts. Some times these are beneficial (as they have different title variants which results in more search traffic), but for the most part I think it is better to have the posts consolidated or under one thread as they are more likely to receive a response. Moderators are now being given the ability to edit threads in this manner.
