Hello forum.

I was going through dome searches for WorldVentures and found this discussion about the company.

First off I will say that I am with WorldVEntures and have been since November 2005.

I will try and answer any questions you all may have about the company, I will also defend the company as well.

• WorldVentures was launched December 10,2005 (I joined 1 month before launch)
  
  Company is based in Plano Texas
  
  Company was totally debt free in its third month of business
  
  WV is a fully bonded and licensed travel company
  
  WV has over 55,000 Reps in the company in two years.
  
  WV has sole proprietary booking technoloy
  
  WV has a travel club membership called DreamTrips. This is a totally different "product" that being a Leisure Travel Consultant. This product can stand on its own.
  
  WorldVentures does not issue ID cards any longer to distance themselves from other card mills. They have taken proactive measures to ensure they are in good standing with all vendors. WV has strong vendor ties. WV was not asked to do this but did it themselves. That is the character of this company, be proactive instead of reactive.
  

Now most people will believe the first thing they read on the internet and call it fact. But the fact is that it is very easy for people to sit behind a keyboard and slam something they know nothing about.

All I ask is that you are in this discussion, please do more checking than a website where a link was provided above. If you notice that website is full of negative people that would not be successful in any business. Also take note that the negative comments STARTED TWO MONTHS BEFORE THE COMPANY EVEN LAUNCHED and come directly from COMPETING travel company members.

Also if you will notice there isn't really anything bad about he company. All the people have had gripes about are the leaders. If you can't find something bad about the company itself to gripe about, then attack the leaders and try and discredit the business that way.
Well I can tell you after two years in this company you will find no better leaders than with this company. There is so much more to the story than the people are saying over there. Most of it is not close to being accurate.

Yes they were in another travel company. (big downlines)

No they were not OFFICERS in the company. (had no say in the workings of the company. Just members with large downlines)

They went to the owner of the other travel company and told them they had developed a new booking technology and wanted to see if he would partner with them. The owner said NO

Shortly after Reps checks started bouncing or they never got paid at all (including the founders of WV)

That is when they broke away to start WorldVentures.

It was pretty simple, but when you read the stories at that website you would think that the people that started WV held people at gunpoint and stole their wallets. Couldn't be further than the truth.


Like ant business whether it be Btick and Mortar or Home Based, people will fail. That is a fact that hits every industry whether its McDonalds (yep I have a closed McD's right down the road from me) or if it is a home based business in the travel industry.

People tend to blame something else for their failure instead of taking responsability for their own. If you work a business like a hobby it will pay like a hobby. If you work it like a real business and work it thoroughly you will see results and income.

Just see the angle people have taken on the posts in that link and you will see an agenda.
