I'm sorry, I'm still not getting this. If there's no money passing hands, what's the scam? Getting the names of people who run a company isn't necessary to do in this way as it's typically public information. I see this as a little too elaborate a scheme to mine a few email addresses from businesses when it's easier to guess their email structure.
