Dealing with Indonesian fraudsters
Recently I've been contacted from various Indonesian companies claiming to be able to supply me with Video Game software (games) for $20.00usd each or even less.
Not used or copied, but brand new, original, and sealed.
Okay, so all sounded good but having being burn't once before in the past, I wasn't giving in so easy.
I started going along with it to entice them to give me more info.
Having told them I'd been scammed in the past and wasn't going to part with my funds so easily again, they offered to send me the goods first and provide a tracking number. Once I see the goods are on route, I can pay them.
Great I thought to myself.
So I ask for Fedex service so I can track the goods.
I told them as soon as the goods arrive in my country at Fedex, I'll pay them.
They replied stating they don't have Fedex in Indonesia, which is true, but they do have an agent there on behalf of Fedex.
Then they give me the details of an International Courier company called............ eselindoexpress.
Well, try throwing that in Google and see what happens.
Looks very dodgy to me.
Scam Courier Company site? I think so
I wrote this for anyone that may in future get told by the company they are potentially send their money to, that goods will be sent by eselindoexpress and tracking number provided, to stay away.
