My experience with Easy Rewards
I just looked at my bank balance today and noticed a $14.95 check card hold from Easy Rewards. I knew that this was something I hadn't been using so I immediately started checking it out online. I found all these discussions, this one plus several more, talking bout people being scammed after ordering from Proflowers.com, which is eactly what happened to me after I ordered flowers for mother's day. I guess I didn't notice the $1.95. Anyway I went to the website and it wouldn't let me log in using my email address and zip code. So I called them and told them all of this...the girl I talked to was very friendly until she found out i wanted to cancel and a refund. She was still courteous and efficient, but her whole tone of voice changed. Anyway, evidently they've had alot of complaints, because right away she said she'd be happy to cancel and refund my money. I was expecting a big sales pitch or an argument or at least some questioning. But I didn't get any of that. She said she'd cancelled it and gave me a cancellation number. Of course the refund won't take effect for "1-2 billing cycles", which seems ridiculous to me, I've worked in retail and I know how quick and easy it is to refund someone's card. If I get charged again I will make a huge deal out of it, but I guess for now I'm satisfied. Thanks to everyone who posted on here so I knew I wasn't the only one and it wasn't just MY stupid mistake.
