Default ID theft questions

Hello everyone, I’m glad to be here. They’ve said that you can’t teach old dogs new tricks, but here I’ve learned how to google up a forum

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys dealt with identity theft issues. It’s so scary these days, what with people losing everything right and left.

Congrats on learning google :P I think this place is more for discussing scams, but most scams also phish for personal information that can be exploited, so ID theft is almost certainly behind that corner. If you’re too worked up or lazy to do stuff you’d otherwise handle for free, you could always try picking up a protection kit or subscribing to a service. The loss insurance and convenience might be worth it, and the price of entry is pretty low, like with trustedid and its ilk. But it won’t make you 100% safe of course. Just be careful.
