Default Hi, I'm cmass

Some of this stuff has been covered in other parts of this site, GREAT SITE, by the way!
I was job hunting awhile back and signed up for several job hunting sites. I have received a ton of email messages, most of which I never responded to because they seemed suspicious to me. I still get them and received one just today. The job I finally took was through personal contact; I never did get anything useful from anyone on line.

I get one like this just about EVERY day, and they are all worded the same. The person sending me the email, who in this case is "Greg Munson, Sr Recruiter, HR Division." It seems that everyone is a Sr Recruiter over at the HR Division, they must not have any junior recruiters or even just plain old recruiters.

This time the email came from careers@fastcareerpro.com There was a hyperlink to sign up for this job which takes you to fastjobpro.com

Nothing here makes any reference to the type of very specific job experience that is listed on my resume, which "Greg Munson" claims to have have such a high regard for. (The message starts out with lavish praise for my resume and my excellent job experience) Instead the link takes me to a vague description of a job in the "Ad and marketing industry" (nothing like this is on my resume). They claim to work with thousands of major companies, such as AT&T, Bausch & Lomb, and Ann Taylor, again nothing even close to what I actually do for a living.

I won't respond to this kind of junk, but it is getting annoying. Any advice?

Cool

cmass welcome to this forum.
You may visit the sites of companies mentioned in such "offers" to see if are posted "job opportunities".
If you have posted a resume on-line turn it to private or delete it to stop receiving such mails.
