Hello, I'm looking for stories from victims.
Hello,
I hope I am not intruding at all by writing this thread. If I am, please feel free to have a moderator remove it. I am in search of stories from victims of 419, Check Washing, Black Currency, and other related fraud cases. I have setup a page of instructions if you are a victim that wishes to share your experience. These stories will be archived in hopes of preventing other people from becoming future victims. Public Education is the key in fighting these kind of scams! On their website, it appears their merchant is with them. They should be able to provide some kind of assistance in getting your money back if you paid through them or with a credit card. Italian Guy Selling BMW 3 Series Scam
I've been duped into this and lost £2,500 last week from a Guy called Martin Vitano who was selling a BMW 3 Series Diesel. This bloke is based in Rome, Italy and is running a major scam. He has now done this to atleast 4 people and I've since last week emailed and notified Gumtree response team and nothing has been done. If only I had seen the comments before hand I would never of gone for it. I am in the process of liasing with CAB and Met police and hopefully get INTERPOL involved. Whatever you do don't fall for this scam. You will live to regret!!
This guy needs to be taught a lesson and fingers crossed he will get caught sooner or later and we'll get our monye back!! See below emails received/sent: Hi, The car is reg in uk.I would like to use a shipping company for this deal, the process is very easy and I have just bought a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and this is why I know how it works. This company will handle the delivery of the car and also they will handle all the registration papers. If we will use it you will have 5 days to inspect the car before you decide to buy it. I will pay delivery! The delivery time will be arround 3-4 days and the car will be delivered at your home address. In this time you will receive the tracking number of the transaction so you can use it to check the status on the company website. Let me explain you the whole proccess: First I will need your details, full name and address. As soon as I get the info from you I will take the car and go to the shipping company to transfer it in their custody. I will pay all the shipping charges. After the car is in their custody they will send you a confirmation and also payment instructions. They work as an escrow service and will hold the payment during the 5 days period for inspection.
