Wrong. I never clicked anything giving permission to give out my credit card numbers and charge me monthly.

That should be your first clue. Then ask yourself "what am I signing up for to get this coupon?" It says in fine print on the side of the page that you will be charged 1.95 for the first month and if you don't cancel before the end of the month, you will be charged 14.95/mo. thereafter.

I actually did sign up for this service to get $15 off and will cancel before the next charge is made while keeping my coupon. It will be nice cause my Mom's Birthday is in a few weeks.

You should always keep in mind that when you a getting a great deal online, there is always a catch and you should actively be searching for the catch before you do anything.

To those who are upset, I guess you learned this lesson the hard way.

Unhappy proflowers-easy saver

I too was recently charged 14.95 this month after sending mother's day flowers. Usually I stick with 1800flowers.com. But I did cancel my card and will be getting a new one which won't be coming in time for my travel this coming weekend. Is this all I can/need to do or is there more?

Default My experience with Easy Rewards

I just looked at my bank balance today and noticed a $14.95 check card hold from Easy Rewards. I knew that this was something I hadn't been using so I immediately started checking it out online. I found all these discussions, this one plus several more, talking bout people being scammed after ordering from Proflowers.com, which is eactly what happened to me after I ordered flowers for mother's day. I guess I didn't notice the $1.95. Anyway I went to the website and it wouldn't let me log in using my email address and zip code. So I called them and told them all of this...the girl I talked to was very friendly until she found out i wanted to cancel and a refund. She was still courteous and efficient, but her whole tone of voice changed. Anyway, evidently they've had alot of complaints, because right away she said she'd be happy to cancel and refund my money. I was expecting a big sales pitch or an argument or at least some questioning. But I didn't get any of that. She said she'd cancelled it and gave me a cancellation number. Of course the refund won't take effect for "1-2 billing cycles", which seems ridiculous to me, I've worked in retail and I know how quick and easy it is to refund someone's card. If I get charged again I will make a huge deal out of it, but I guess for now I'm satisfied. Thanks to everyone who posted on here so I knew I wasn't the only one and it wasn't just MY stupid mistake.

I would tend to agree with you on this, because I hate it when people don't take responsibility for their own mistakes...except for the fact that I went back thru my emails for the month since I ordered from Proflowers and there was NOTHING from easy saver, not to mention the fact that when I went to their website, it wouldn't let me log in, asking only for my email address and zip code. So how could I possibly be expected to use this??? It would be different if I had actually gotten something from them in return for my money.

DO NOT BE EASY WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!
They got me and my wife to.
Proflowers had to give the information to Easy saver. They will take and take from your credit card and hope you really dont notice.

Call your credit card company quickly, I recommend activating a whole new account, its what I did because they can charge all they want and you will have to go to hell to get your money back. So contact your creadit card reps quickly. Block them!
Report this to BBB even more so if you had more that $100.00 or so taken form you.
Dont hesitate, or you will be hit $14.95 and $1.99 over and over on your account.
Hopefully, they will resolve this.. but it seems they have given alot of people their fair share of frustration over time.

Default Proflowers.com Easy Saver

I also just received a charge for $14.95, and after reading through these threads I cancelled "my account" also. How can a sleezy company stay in business ripping people off is beyond me. No wonder nobody trusts anyone. What a shame. Thanks to all for thread..

Exclamation easy saver, proflowers and freeshipping

My father and I were both charged 14.95 plus the 1.95 activation fee before I caught it and stopped it. Also becareful of the freeshipping.com charge as they charge 71.80 as well (my dad encountered this charge). we called and got all our money refunded, we won't be using proflowers anymore seeing as we weren't the only ones being charged with these sneaky charges. It is very dishonest and ridiculous how a gift can turn into hundreds of extra charges that were never intended. I'm just glad we got our money back. the first lady I called did not intend to give me money back, but finally agreed. The lady my father spoke to was more compliant from the beginning. I also voiced my complaints with proflowers and made them take me out of their system immediately because they should not be sharing my credit card information with other companies with out stating they will do so in legible print.

I would agree that pwople need to admit thier mistakes, except I DID cancel my account after I ordered flowers. They Still charged my account the 14.95 monthly fee. I do believe this would qualify as fraud. (yes I kept the cancellation reciept)

Default ProFlowers Got me Too

Proflowers did it to me too. 14.95. I ordered some flowers from them paying 60.00 for the order for my mother on Mother's Day. Shame on them for scamming people like this. How can we get the word out so this won't happen again. They should be shut down.

Default Keep Watching your credit card statements...

I had the same deal as most of you. Bought flowers from Proflowers, and got dinged the $1.95 and then $14.95. Luckily I caught it the first month and the 14.95 was refunded. HOWEVER... I just got a random charge on my credit card for $14.95 from "Regent Group LLC" that says it is a reversal of previously refunded credit. I'm fairly certain that this charge is still to do with Easy Saver, so I'll be calling their 1-800 number AGAIN and my credit card company. Unlike the Easy Saver charges, this charge has NO contact information for the company. So yes, you may get an easy refund, but make sure you keep watching your credit card statements, as they may take it back again. Talk about sketchy business practices... how is that even legal?

Before this all happened I had been using Proflowers for years, and always had a great experience. It's a shame they weren't more careful who they teamed up with.
