i would like to say that i have just recently started working for a company that sells easy saver, and this is NOT a fraudulent company. as an FYI if you order something online, and just click the "i have read and agreed to the terms and conditions" box without actually reading it, you are very likely to have inadvertantly signed up for easy saver or another company operating under similiar guidelines. please note that although you may not be aware, many companies are making a huge amount of money on technicalities like this. if you try to take it to court, you will lose. thats guaranteed. now, im not saying i agree with it, because to a degree it is deceptive. but please be aware that you have to pay attention to details, if you dont, youll be signed up for countless amounts of programs that you may or may not want. to be honest, easy saver really is a good way to save yourself some money. so lets say you find that you have found yourself signed up for this program, at the very least, see what the company has to offer you. if you dont like it, cancel it. at least you wont be out any more money.

Default Easy Savers also with oriental trading company

Note this is also happening with Oriental Trading Company, luckily my order was just last month so I only suffered one charge. Just cancelled it and got my cancellation number, note you need to ask for it as he didn't give it to me until I asked.

I also have fallen victim to this easy saver. My question is.. has anyone gotten their full refund back from them and how do I go about doing that?

I read the first 2 pages but am on the way to the bank right now and would love any info asap. Thank you so much

added: I also used proflowers to buy flowers for my DH's 88 yr old grandmother.

Default Easy saver charges,

@Donnask8pro. Welcome to 419legal. It would probably be best to contact your credit card supplier and ask for a credit.

After reading about the way they operate, I would also cancel the account and get a new card . All the best and I hope you succeed .

Thank you. I immediately cancelled my debit card and then called the company. Special thanks to everyone on this thread, I got the phone number.

I then in turn called them and they are refunding me the full amount immediately. I got an employee name and confirmation number for the full refund. Fingers crossed.

Thank you so much for this thread....

I also have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I think everyone who has not should do so immediately.

I agree with this completely. Every company I do business with online sends receipts with their transaction. AND they give a preview of your receipt so it is very clear what you are ordering and what you are receiving.

Proflowers did this for me (I have a copy of the receipt) but nowhere on there did it indicate that I had signed up for an extra $1.95 the first month or $14.95 for the second month.

There was also no receipt from Easy Saver (I keep electronic copies of all my receipts), which means my credit card information was given to a second party. I'm not pleased.

I don't believe I even signed up for the extra discount because I didn't want to fill out all of the registration information. And if I did, a legitimate transaction would have shown a receipt that I could print or they would have e-mailed a receipt to me.

I'm canceling my credit card tomorrow in case it takes awhile to get Easy Saver off of there. And I will file a complaint with the BBB.

I noticed 23,000 views have been made for this particular thread. It is obvious to me that people are being purposefully deceived.

I am a victim of this company's deceptive practices as well. I contacted Easy Savers at 800-444-9491 and simply told them I wanted the account cancelled and all previous charges refunded to me. The lady I spoke with didn't give me any resistance which I was very suprised about and said the refund should be reflected on my account in 7 - 10 days. She did ask me what dates the charges were made which I had already written down so I gave her each date I was charged which totalled up to be $76.70.

I have already filed a complaint with the federal trade commision and sent an email to proflowers telling them about my experience (not that they will care). In my area Citadel Media which carries several radio programs does advertising for proflowers so I am going to email them as well in an effort to inform them of the affiliation of proflowers and easy saver (again, not that they will care...it's just advertising dollars for them). I'll also file an unauthorized activity form with my bank and notify my states attourney general. I think thats pretty much all I can do and I feel pretty fortunate that i'll even be able to recover the money that I was wrongly charged.
