Massage Scam Number????
I recieved this, and I too think it might be a scam. L.M.T's Beaware of this type of Email.Thank you alerting me, I want to alert others and protect ,my fellow L.M.T's and others from those persons who think they will get us. I have been looking for a massage therapist for over two weeks till i met an old friend Mrs Jennifer Bell at the Cosmetic Surgery And Beauty Conference that was held over the weekend in Florence ,Milano. I spoke with her about my client and was referred to you. She gave me your referral,she said she came to your office with a friend months ago before she relocated with her family to England , she said you worked on her friend and your therapy was very good. So i decided to contact you to know if you will be able to work on my client. Pls tell me a little more about your self,how long have you been a massage therapist?and would you be able to provide her therapeutic massage? I sent a copy of the message you sent me to Miss Roberta, and she is very happy you will be able to provide her with bodywork and therapeutic massage Miss Roberta will Arive on the 22nd of August and the first session will be on the 24th, Miss Roberta said you should schedule her from the 24h of August to the 30th of September ( 1hr session three times a week )and she will like most of the session to be before 3:00pm or after 7.00pm in the evening as she will be doing most of her photo shoots between 3-7pm and sundays should not be included because of church. If the time will not work for you, you can get back to me with the best time that can fit into your schedule. The Modeling Manager said he will be going on vacation to Australia with his family tomorrow so he gave me the sum of 4000usd being payments for your service and the rest to be sent to her Modeling Equipments rental manager in Asia as Miss Roberta Camilleri will be Renting some of the Equipments she will need for her photo shoot from an Equipment rental company in Asia. I spoke with the Equipments rental manager today and was told he will not be able to cash an American certified cashiers check in Asia as it is cashable only in the us. I want to know if i can make the certified cashiers check in your name as it is an American certified cashiers check so that when you receive it you take it to your bank and have it cashed, you deduct you part of the money and you help me send the rest to the Equipments rental manager in Asia on my behalf via western union money transfer so that her equipment can be delivered to her hotel before her arrival, I will give you all the details and direction on how to handle it when you receive it so you need not worry about that. Pls do let me know if i can trust you to do this for me.. Miss Roberta will be making reservations in the hotel below next week and she will give you all the details you will need as soon as the reservation is done and also her flight details. Iris, We received this email as well. We are going to report the email address to the authorities ASAP. The information that we have been given says that she will be in Columbia, SC, for the same dates, times, money, etc. Thanks for posting this as we will get the word out and will also be providing this information to the AMTA local chapter. -Erin and Aaron in Columbia.

Wrong information
I have worked with Miss Roberta Camilleri a year ago in England, am sure there must be a mistake somewhere. i will check for her number and confirm what you people mean by she is a Fraud

I just spoke with Miss Roberta about what you people wrote about her, she is very angry about it, i wonder why people will not confirm things before posting it here... She said the problem came from Mrs Letizia, she said she did not know how Mrs Letizia got your contact because she is surpose to pay her for getting someone to work on her. She said you should call her if you need to ask her Questions about her job in the US. This is her number: 447031905732

I recieved the same e-mail with a few minor details differing. This said she was coming to Connecticut, and the model was Gloria Kostic...who is a real model in Italy.
How are they getting our e-mail addresses?? And who do we contact to report this???

I just received this same email with different names and dates and I too believed it to be true. I even called the hotel they listed to check if Miss Gloria Kostic made reservations. She hadn't. How is this a scam? Luckily I did not give them any information, but this seemed legit. Good thing my friend Googled this models name and found your warning.

I too have received this email regarding Gloria Kostic staying at a hotel 5 minutes from me why is this person doing this. The information requested i.e. name on check, amount of massage. address to send are not damaging things to ask. What is the end result? what do these people want? I gave information that was not personal and addresses that was a p.o.box we'll see Im definatly uneasy thats for sure the senders name is...Lucrezia Merilloe. the email is below:

If you have accepted the check and wired the rest amount thru Western Union, you would have had financial loss, since you are liable for paying the check amount back to your bank once it turns out counterfeit and wired money is gone to scammers.
