Default How Much Acai Does Monavie Contain?

In my received Scam Types dot Com mail

How Much Acai Does Monavie Contain?

Posted: 20 Dec 2008 01:00 PM CST

One of the main selling points of MonaVie, the juice sold via mlm, is the fact that it has a ’superior nutrient content’ and is, supposedly, one of the ‘world’s top superfoods’.

(Add your views about that to the poll on the bottom right of your screen)

Now, acai may very well be a quality ingredient, but if Monavie are going to use it as one of the main selling points of their juice then surely they should disclose how much of it is included in the ingredients?

After all, at over $1.50 an ounce, Monavie isn’t cheap!

Of course, MonaVie say that they cannot disclose such information as the level of acai in their juice is a trade secret.

By disclosing such information it would be possible, perhaps, for another company to mimic Monavie’s winning formula.

To be fair, acai is listed as the first ingredient on the label of Monavie which means that it is indeed the ingredient with the largest quantity.

However, with so many other juices present it is possible that the level of acai present could be under 6%.

So, with that in mind, is Monavie worth the asking price of $30 - $40 per bottle?

What do you think?

Of course it’s not true at all, as much as I wish it was.

The above email is obviously a scam as I have never heard of an MSN Vcard, let alone possess one!

Additionally, the fact that the reply address is a hotmail account is a bit of a giveaway too!
