I recently spoke to someone that old me their exboyfriend had access to their IM and social networking profile websites. He has been online talking to people pretending to be her. This has also potentially threatened some career opportunities. I am not sure if he has changed the password so that she cannot get into the accounts and change it yet. I was wondering if there are any potential legal actions that can be taken against this guy who is posing as her?

@mdwall. Welcome to 419legal. To obtain legal advice you would have to contact a lawyer.
If the ex boyfriend is passing himself off as her, then it may be an idea to talk to the police, as this could be construed as identity theft? Again for a legal definition you would have to consult a lawyer.
