I want you to know that your payment is valid and maintained with us here. I have ensured that you receive your fund through an international certified bank draft acceptable and payable to you. I advice you to cooperate with me and listen to my advice as the Central Bank of Nigeria (cbn) will not be held responsible for any lapses or miss-direction of your fund due to your inability to cooperate with me who is in-charge as the executive governor of the central bank of Nigeria (CBN).

I can not vividly explain how this payment was generated or accured to you, but i was informed before I resumed my humble office in the month of may 2004 that a contract with the federal government was executed in your favor by a foreign contractor, who at the point of execution did not receive his payments. Coupled with the fact that the computer departments of the central bank was burnt down some months ago before I resumed this humble office, and all available informations as regards your informations that was dropped by the foreign contractor was missing as well, when we were able to trace burnt files we were only left with your email address which I can not see clearly.

When this payment notification was forwarded to my humble office, I decided to contact you for immediate payment in an international certisfied bank draft payable to you in your name, which will be delivered to your door step by a diplomatic courier company in the name of Courier Diplomatic Delivery Company, as soon as your delivery arrangements have been concluded and also if your full details are in line with the details at the Ministry Of Finance.

from America; it was meant for our Local AFEM market. But since the money
was not used, I will use my position as the Chairman Board Members to send
this fund to you.

Diplomatic agent who will accompany the boxes to your house address.

All you need to do now I to send to me your full house address and your
identity such as, international passport or drivers license including your
contact phone numbers, The Diplomatic attached will travel with it. He

Grace of God Note: The diplomatic does not know the original contents of

I received the following message this A.M. and knew right away it had to be another scam. Here it is in all of its glory:

"From the Desk of:CBN(Governor) Reference:Payment Notification. Status :Information Re- confirmation ATTENTION: Beneficiary, Ref: INHERITANCE FUND CLAIM The Records of outstanding Beneficiaries due for payment with the federal government of Nigeria, your name was discovered as next on the list of the outstanding who have not yet received their payments. Therefore, I wish to inform you that, your payment is being processed and will be released to you as soon as you respond to this letter. Also note that from my record in the file your outstanding contract payment is US$5.000,000.00 (five Million United States Dollars). Re-confirm to me if this is what you have in your record and please forward the below information to ease our confirmation that will enable fund be credited in your Favour (1) Your full name.(2) Phone, and mobile #.3) company's name, position(4)profession, age and marital status.(5)Contact address. As soon as this information is received, your payment will be made to you in a certified Bank draft / ATM/DEBIT CARD or wired to your Bank account . As soon as you receive this letter for further update get back to me. Regards, PROFESSOR CHARLES. C. SOLUDO"

Who in their right mind would believe that they were getting 5 million dollars from a country like Nigeria. I mean really. Hope this helps others.
