Hey, I cant believe there is so much going on about these kinds of scams. I was actually really stupid for falling for it because I wanted a car to practice in b4 passing my driving test, so stupidly i looked on Auto trader and then found a polo which was just too good to be true but i genuinely had no idea people were doing such things. Anyways i told my boyfriend about it and he wanted the car, so i handed it over to him whilst i was contacting the so called seller- name Anna Mirthe- i got the same kinda emails that u people recived- had to go to Switzerland as shes got a job there- ebay are acting as third party mediator, money has to be transferred via Western Union. Thing is i had no idea this was ll fake as i was recieving "invoices" from ebay- Anyways my boyfriend and I sent over £2000 + £75 transfer charge to the so called ebay agent and never saw the money or car again. Since then, i have come across 2 more people posing as women sending me the same kinds of emails and i have found them on auto trader. Right now ive got a doctor from Leeds whos moved to Athens selling the car. What im thinking to do is to play along, inform the police and western union and try catching this dickhead. Do you guys think this would work? Initially when we had sent the money the police couldnt do anything but i potentialy think there is a chance this time. Its funny how i keep coming across these kinda people when im just looking for a genuine seller and a car. Any comments on what im planning to do would be much appreciated!!
