Well, Her Majesty Liz was so moved as to send me one of these letters today.
It's a lucky thing that (now) I trust no person living, and walk softly around the dead, because I would actually "qualify" for an award like that. Being a cranky old lady with disabilities, I wondered...hummmm, could this be my lucky day?
Thinking.."maybe they caught wind of how much trouble I am having finishing my degree living on $620 a month" ?!

I wondered, how do they make money on me? I sort of chuckle thinking anyone would get too far if they stole MY identity. The first card they tried to apply for would come back from Experian saying "Shoot her on Sight!"

I guess I don't quite understand the criminal mind.

I did, however, fall for the one (Australian Lottery) where they send you a (very authentic looking) check up front...and since it was my local bank, I thought I would deposit it, and see if it cleared. They did say I was to use it to send to THEM, and THEN they would bestow the googolplex amount on me.
My thinking was, I'd just tell em, "Nah, YOU keep the rest, This much will get me WAY past this life and into the next!"
Well, the check cleared! I started paying off my (collaterilized) credit card, bills, and got my hair done. 4 weeks after it cleared, bank seized my account. I had to pay the bank back for having paid off my collaterilized card, plus I lost it.

But this Queeny Letter didn't indicate how they get anything out of me, but my identity, which is useless even to me.

So any light you can shed on whom we should report them to for the swiftest judgment available, such as Postmaster General - or handy phrases that would put the fear of God into them...I would be EVER so beholdin' !

Here is where 'once burned, twice shy' could be applied.
