Default twig-shop.com is a scam - beware!!!

twig-shop.com is a scam. This site registration process is HTTP and not HTTPS which shows how much they "care" about your privacy. Privacy Policy is nowhere to be found. I came across countless number of scammers particularly from the UK, the language that this site is using to describe their "mission" is very similar to some of the scammers I've met on alibaba.com. Another trick used by this site that is common with scammers' tricks is to offer a really good price for SOME highly desirable products and match other prices on the internet for other products. Then request a Western-Union money transfer when you are all excited about a "deal" you just found - many people will go for it because the deal looks like a steal. Once the money are transfered, you will not be able to get in touch with the company and nobody can help you. Western-Union works just like cash and only credit cards protect consumers with charge backs. Western-Union is a one way street, money go from your pocket to the scammers. Notice that all products were "added" to their "catalog" on January, 2007... Well it is April 2007 and companies with lots of business add stuff daily. Another scam indicator is the "minimum order factor" it is $400.00, otherwise you cannot checkout. I guess they figured that to steal in smaller amounts just not worth it. To make the site look like it is legit they display Visa, PayPal and other logos, but not actually accepting these methods of payments. No phone numbers for customer service - just a simple HTML form and a Voice Mailbox Phone. The best way to scam is to appear legit with some addresses and useless phone numbers to hideaway. All too familiar.
