Default Registering and using your email as your user name.

A well thought out and helpful post above.

Many guests and members ask what they can do to stop spam.

Many spammers surf the internet looking for emails and so it is definitely NOT a wise move to post on ANY website using your email address as your user name.

Once your email has been harvested, then it will be onsold and MANY spammers will be able to use it.

There is NO need to post your email details on any site as your user name, pick a nickname and use that.

IF your details are not posted in the open, then it is unlikely that they will be used for things like spamming .
