Default do your homework

I have dealt with DHgate and TradeTang. First, you arent allowed to sell counterfeit items, even if you tell someone they are replicas. If they have say "Gucci" on it and you tell someone that its fake, you still cant sell it. Its against the law. If it said "Guggi" then its ok. So when you ask them if its authentic, they have to tell you it is, you could be a federal agent and they could get in trouble.

There is a way to protect yourself. Do research.Dont go sending hundreds of dollars to someone you dont know and have never dealt with before. Each seller has a rating and has feedback. Look at it! look at ALL of it. Start small, build up a relationship with the seller. you will get further. And if they are willing to instant message you then your off to a great start. I have no affiliation with either company, But I get a little frustrated when I see that people are shocked that theyve been duped when theyve done little to no research and are willing to send off a bunch of money with no safety net. both companies have a button after youve made a purchase, that once youve received your merchandise and ARE SATISFIED.. you then click button that says release funds to seller.

Ive had no occasion on dhgate that there was a problem. I bought several items of jewelry that I knew were knock offs,(why else would I get a tiffany necklace that retails for $500 for 20 bucks??) I gave them as gifts and people LOVED them. I ended up becoming friends with the seller and made several other purchases and have always been satisfied with all of it through DHgate.

TradeTang I had a few issues, but they were resolved promptly and I always got my money back. My other post is about tradetang, you can click my name and read the other post to see what Ive said about them..

It all boils down to quelling your urge for instant gratification and believing in the unbelievable ^_^ please guys, if you just take a little time, do your homework, contact the seller before you buy.. You will have a much higher success rate with these companies.
