Antiscam Detective Sites
There are a number of so-called anti scam web sites that claim that they will investigate the women that men meet on an adult dating Russian site with the promise that they can obtain proof of the woman’s identity, including a photograph.
While many websites are sincerely dedicated to fighting online scams, there is always the danger of being persuaded, if not out-right duped, into spending a great deal of money trying to avoid falling victim to fraud. Additionally, there is no real way to know if the information presented by the “decectives” is any more valid than that presented by the person being investigated. Antiscam detective websites may even work in league with those perpetrating Mail-Order Bride Scams, counting on their ability to raise suspicions in order to drum up business.
In the final analysis it is simply wiser to simply avoid dubious online relationship than to spend exorbitant amounts of money to “confirm” their existence.
