Scam Alert : Fake Email Sponsors Stimulus Payments
It seems cyber crooks are offering packages in order to promote identity theft. Posing Security alert,
US Department of Homeland Security is warning the cyber citizens to be careful, while dealing online as fake emails are sponsored by cyber criminals in order to gain the personal information.
These emails are bombarding with interesting amounts in order to collect personal information
While US-CERT ,the us computer Emergency Readiness Team confirms report of phishing scan targeting fraudulent Us Internal Revenue Service emails offering users interesting amount in the form of package.
The emails is covered with text, which directs the users to website through link, thus further asking users to give their personal information .
As a matter of security threats us-cert.gov, Us-CERT advises to exercise caution and alert the authorities for the same.
The US House of Representatives passed a giant economic stimulus package last week but it has yet to clear the Senate.
