Walmart e-mail Scam Still Going Strong
Each day scam goes more strong, as the scam artists apply new tactics. Some times theses cyber criminals apply master mind by sending fake email , in order to gain confidence of people through internet .
If these fraudsters sponsors scams through branded names, then they can earn million in seconds . Here is the latest example of Walmart, email which is still going strong and making rounds .
Here comes the email in the name of wall mart survey , which claims you will get $ 150 . But infact this email is not from wall mart which it represents to be , but another phishing email to steal the personal identity.
At the first look email represents itself from walmart attached with survey details which it suppose to do so , but on the later side at the bottom of page , email demands your credit and debit card information. They would also like to know your card verification code from back of your card and of course supported with pin number .
This is how the fraudsters execute their action plans in order to steal the personal information.
But in true sense The only survey Walmart does is on the back of your receipt, and it doesn’t email and ask for any personal information , while the fake email can be spotted out by just ,carrying the mouse over that link ,states Ross Howard .
Beware of the email subject line which lures the victim, “It will say dear customer or dear valued customer. If they are so intent on getting this information from you they should know who your are and your information at the same time,” Howard said.
It seems Walmart Scam continues to swing and still going strong to steal the personal information , as scam artist are using its name in phishing for their financial gains .
