Online Rental Scam Targets Ahwatukee Foothills

Prevention is the thumb rule against any scam or any fraud . If you are hunting for any rental house and if you are in Ahwatukee than think twice before depositing any money ,because if trusted blindly ,certainly it can result into scam .

But scam artists are performing some different tasks ,by manipulating the advertisement on Craigslist .com a largest website consisting of job ads, personal ads, ads for car,ads for home etc.

According to reality expert Broker Rod Kjerstad ,scam artists are smart enough in their tactics by floating fraud add on Craigslist.com. The fake add says ” Three bed room Ahwatukee house monthly rent would be $800 instead $1,500-a-month, with an email address included inside ,thus deceiving many people .

But in fact , In Ahwatukee, for instance it is not possible to rent a three-bedroom house with a pool for $800 a month.

Kjerstad believes that, scam artist have played the crook tactics of copying the legal ad on Craigslist and smart enough to manipulate the rent amount and contact information thus a act of targeting rental ads on craiglist.

Scam artists use to fool the people by saying that they are out of the country , but they should send the money and in return they will mail the keys.

Phoenix Police believes that there are lot of scam taking place resulting into online rental scam ,but in some cases they are helpless as the fraudsters change their movement quickly.
