Scam Warning Against Latest Phishing Text Message ,targeting phones
If you are not latest victim of New and latest Text message Scam then thank yourself as an aware consumer .
While Colorado. residents in the united states are facing tough times with fraud text message has already welcomed their mobile inbox from a fraudulent phone number to try to get people to reveal their credit card information.
It represents itself from Sooper Credit Union and says, “Please call us immediately regarding a recent restriction on your account.” It urges the recipient to dial an 877 number.
If a person call this number , an automated intuitive, message is flashed saying
“Our records indicated that your Visa Check card is restricted. Please stay on the line to remove your restriction”
The fraudulent automated message further tries to confirm debit card details and pin number of the victim inorder to proceed further .
Mean while Sooper Credit Union President and CEO Dan Kester confirms ,calls started flooding from friday itself ,thus reporting scam. Reports also indicated that text message is also making rounds in Loveland and Mesa County.
Taking serous note FBI Has already blocked the number 877 associated with the text message within an hour.
As matter of caution, police and financial firms are warning the people about this wild phishing scam.

April 5, 2009, I just received a text message from Sooper CU saying ‘Call immediately’. The number that is listed is: 708-271-1264.
I guess the FBI did not block this area code.

Ive been receiving this crap for 3 days now, and im in Florida. I hope someone can put an end to this soon. everyone I know is having the same problem. Any idiot that just gives out their cc# or debit and pin kinda needs a swift kick in the ass. Its your #s the bank knows your #s, be smart dont give it out. Its a hacker jerkoff trying to take advantage of the people, because we got our heads so far up Slowbama ass we are letting our gaurds down. Please help FBI.
