New Scam Can spring up with BBB name to Hit Businesses, warns Better Business Bureau

As the tax refiling continues to grip the season , Financial scam artists are booming with their fraud tactics . There is reason to worry for the tax payers in Minnesota and North Dakota as , Better Business Bureau (BBB) confirms new scam which is making rounds by using BBB name.
In fact Better Business Bureau (BBB) confirmed this scam from a local business owner .
Scam artists representing themselves from BBB have called business owner and falsely informed that there are several complaints against his company and one of the litigator is approaching for legal proceeding, against the company and had hired a high-profile lawyer to pursue the case.
Here the scam artist uses the black mailing scheme to trap the victim. Fraudster confirms the Business owner that legal proceedings would cost him more that $10,000. Scammer confirms he could help him to get rid out of this ,but in return he need $2,000 each for all complaint settlements filed against him(business owner). And no sooner scammer received the money ,business owner would be out a great deal of cash.
The Better Business Bureau warns all business owners that this type of scam is occurring and businesses should contact the BBB at (800) 646-6222 or ask@thefirstbbb.org if they receive a similar call.
