H5N1 Virus-Bird-flu Scam
Most of us are well aware of the term-bird flu, thanks to the more-than-extensive coverage by the media. The H5N1 virus associated with bird flu, is now being used by scammers to create fear amongst the public and then take advantage by providing fake remedies. The point that is worth considering here is that, even though fear about any and every situation affecting ourselves and our near and dear ones is good, but duping people and stealing their finances on false health pretext, is something which should be fought.
Scam and con artists are the ones who are the least concerned about you or your family’s health. These scammers will try every trick to coax you into buying anti bird-flu vaccines or miracle cures which are not yet known. The sole purpose of these H5N1 virus scammers is to exploit the fear in people and make money. Sending spam mails, advertisements in newspapers and magazines is the preferred way scammers use to exploit the population.
The best advice is to NOT respond to any spam mails, advertisements or call back to any phone number provided in the advertisements.
These scammers are even more deadlier that the H5N1 virus on the basis of which they are duping people and making money for themselves. Reporting of such matters to the authorities will always be a step towards getting rid of such scammers.
