Default refurbishedxbox360.com is Big Fraud! I have Proof!

Ok, everyone by now has pretty much figured out that this site is a scam and yes, they have got my money too. Here is my investigation that sites proof to this being a fraud. The site is essentially set on a timeline and is set to update the status report frequently. I found this out because I noticed that it shows a status report for any ten digit number. Is all anyone has to do is type in a random 19... # and any last name and you will see that it gives anyone a shipment report. Try this at random I typed: 1911400628 and put last name as: bob and got a report farther than anyone so far. It said "Item at China Customs-Inspection" Keep in mind this was a randome ten digit 19# with a bogus last name and I got a shipment report. Currently, the 360 I purchased says that it is still at the shangri depot. Just wanted everyone to know this before buying any 35$ xbox, ps3 or wii. It is guranteed fake otherwise you could not type in any number and last name and get a report. Kudos to myself for noticing this and I hope it helps you all out. Chad

Default More investigation

Further investigation I found that to prove more fake you have to change either of the 3rd or forth digit numbers. For example in 1911400628 try typing 1912400628 with same last name: bob In otherwords the 1 in 1911 is changed to a 2 for the forth digit and you will see that it says shangri depot instead of china customs. This tells us all that there are thousands of people being scammed if there is over a 100thousand margin from 1911000000 to 1912000000. This a a big time scam!

Default Site down

I tool fell victim to this, well actually GF did, when she told me about It I said it was most likely a scam but she ordered it anyways because at the time my current xbox had the RROD going on and it was in pieces with me trying to fix it. Anyways its been like 3+ weeks and I keep checking the order status, finially it says the thing has cleared customs and is at the port of china on its way to me in the good ol US. today I log back in to check the site and WTF it is no more, cannot find it anywhere, those bastards hoodwinked me for 35$. and from the look of it I am not alone, I say we find this SOB and have ourselves a good ol fashion asswoppin for him.

Default He is a loser

Let me tell you about John Burgess (other aliases: RedOct2k3, RedOct, Xavier Lumine, October, and Scarries).. he owns wow-dupe(dot)com and he makes 5 Million Dollars a Year... Doesn't pay taxes.. Doesn't have a tangible product.. and brags about it.

Every so often he is forced to create a new merchant account because after so many charge backs and fraud complaints he has to start over with a new fake business name. PayPal closed his original account with $20,000 unpaid in it and has been banned from using PayPal.

What ILLEGAL / UNETHICAL things has John Burgess been up to.. besides not paying taxes and false advertising?
Getting fake pageviews from YouTube ( as seen here ) (youtube banned him: www
youtubecom
/user/redoct2k3)
Hiring coders/hackers to Spam Thottbotcom
Hiring coders/hackers to Spam HackingSourcenet
Hiring coders/hackers to DDoS MMOwnedcom
Hiring coders to create automated tools to spam World of Warcraft
Running a dozen or so PC's simultaneously spamming World of Warcraft characters with his websites.

This is all information I found and pasted from http:
//wow.
scammer.
exposed.
googlepages
com

Default He's funny

I just checked refurbishedxbox360s.com and it's down. I figured it was about time for him to shut it down and move on. This John person you speak of, he is in on it, but is more of an accomplice. The mastermind behind tries to stay of the radar, as seen from the removal and rotation of sites. Again if you want a refund the only tangible advice I got from the merchant account that billed everybody for the last few weeks was, get a "charge-back" from your financial institution. If you have some banks that don't want to help until it is found to be a scam, sorry I am in the same boat. Any one get a hold of a lawyer yet? I've been trying but with no luck. I seen the criminal dropped or got dropped by his American host company, the site is now running out of russia. Anyone see the pic of the scamming jack-ass on page 4? With that cocky ass smirk on his face like he is getting away with it. If anybody actually is actually gonna beat his ass atleast for the sake of everyone out from this event, tape it and put it on youtube so we all can get our $35 dollars worth. I would consider that legal militia action, since it is an event that our government can't handle.

*I am not a law expert or official, all writings are personal opinions and are not intended to bite me in the ass any way, shape or form.

And to answer the tax thing, he found a loop-hole to launder his money to the US. Yes I know all about this flesh-eyed bowl headed hermaphroditic import of steaming carbon-based waste, also in my opinion.

Default Thank you!

Well after reading your thread it just solidifies what I figured in the first place and what I should always remember: if it seems too good to be true then it is. Thank you for your information after reading your post I immediately called my back and cancelled my credit card. If other people start a class action lawsuit, I am in. My email address is elaventia at yahoo com. Once again, thanks for the valuable information.
