The horror stories seem to be all the same...thank God I'm not alone on this. I would screw up a free lunch, so I thought it was just something that I did wrong. Thank you for the reference phone numbers to try to get this order cancelled and I'll call my bank tomorrow. Has anyone had any luck getting the Snuggie through Sears?

I wish I would have visited this website before I "ordered 6!!!" of these. Yeah, I originally intended to only order the one set...however at $20.00 shipping (not even next day shipping by the way!!), I was offered a discounted additional set...which I again clicked yes...plus more shipping...and then again another set...plus shipping. I called to cancel the order...to no avail. THIS IS A TOTAL RIPOFF!!! Beware!!!

Don't buy a Snuggie, it is a scam. If you have been scammed, call the parent company, Fosdick Fulfillment at 1 (203) 269-0211.
My wife wanted a Snuggie for her birthday, so I like others, went to the web site and got scammed. They take your card number before you order. They made it look like I was choosing different colors, or thicker material, but instead I was adding additional sets of two to my order, making the order over $100. There is no way to cancel or remove items if you click on the wrong thing, or hit back -you only add additional sets. The real scam comes later, when you call the customer service number on the site. You get redirected to a different phone number, which was mostly busy. When I actually talked to someone, he calimed there was no way to cancel the order, because the computer hadn't processed it yet. This was an outright lie. I cancelled my CC#, then I called Better Business of CT, who told me they had a flood of complaints. They gave me the real name and number of the company: Fosdick Fulfillment 1-203-269-0211. When I called this number and asked for a supervisor at customer service, they were able to cancel my order right away, despite having been told 10 minutes earlier by Snuggies that it was impossible. To me, this appears like organized crime - I hope it gets investigated |

Did anyone who bought a Snuggie have your info sold to Avalon Marketing? I got a call yesterday saying they were calling regarding my VISA ending in xxxx. They wanted to thank me for my biz, send me gifts and gift cards. I interrupted and said my VISA is through my bank and that's not you. I asked how they got my unlisted number and the last four of my VISA. He said they partnered with a company where I had recently made a purchase. I told him I didn't want anything, he kept telling me he didn't have all my card number, I was under no obligation, etc... I said "Don't send me anything and don't ever call again." I called my bank and they canceled that card, so now I wait on another card. I was searching for that phone number and found others who had ordered Snuggies and had this firm call them. I then found a number for Snuggie and called, which was useless. She kept insisting I said yes during my automated ordering of those dumb blankets to one of their offers. I asked to talk to a supervisor, was put on hold, same person came back. I am going to file a complaint with the attorney general and anyone else I can find! I know I didn't agree to anything extra and the dumb blankets aren't worth it!

The Snuggie website is very deceiving. I am not sure I made a purchase or not, and I sure hope I did not. I am thinking of canceling the credit card I used because I am so distrustful of my experience on that site. They have you input credit card info before seeing a total amount of purchase. I think the "continue" button may actually confirm the purchase. How stupid can I have been! Be afraid, be very afraid!

I bought the Snuggie about 6 months ago and after I made the order I was getting 6-7 calls a day from this number and when I called it back it was either busy or said no one is available. If you answered they hung up on you and if you didnt answer they wouldnt leave a message. Finally I answered and a person actually talked. They thanked me for my purchase and said will be mailing out a $50 visa card. I told the person I was recording the conversation and they better never call again. That stopped the calls for about 4 months and then the whole thing started again. They got the number cause Snuggie sold my information to them and it has been a total nightmare since. Do not order a snuggie cause you will regret it forever. This company is a total fraud and if you google Snuggie you can read the many many horror stories people have had with them.

I ordered some from an online website and had no problems at all. They both arrived on time and my mom, sister and niece all loved them. Very sorry to hear about your experience, but in my experience with ordering from TV ads is they all try to sell you multiple items and memberships. If I get an automated voice I just hang up. If I get a live person I interrupt them and tell them Not to waste my time with all the extra offers, or I listen politely ( if I have time) and say no to everything else and generally have not had any problems except maybe for taking more time than I would like just to purchase something.

I bought one from Walgreens (luckily from what I've seen here). What I'd like to know from anyone else who has one is, does it actually work for you like they show on tv? It drives me nuts to see these people so happily wandering around in their Snuggies, and if I move at all, it immediately falls off my shoulders. This will happen even sitting in a chair if I reach for anything, and forget all about walking anywhere in it. It falls forward and I end up tripping on it. And I'm tall at 5'9" too. I've actually considered getting someone to sew a button onto the back for me to keep it in place. And of course, their website has no place to ask questions or leave feedback....
