Talking Myke Macino

I got this off a friend. just thought I let you guys have a look..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beware of this fellow..

His name is Myke Macino..
Runs a fake production company called Silvertouch Pictures.
This idiot was on Ebay looking for people to invest in his 'movie project' only to find it was a hoax.

I know there are some filmmakers who would put themselves on there just to get people to bid on their projects.
This guy has got to be the worst.

Back in 2004, he was in The Stage newspaper.

Now that I know the truth about him.
I would advise anyone not to business with this man!
The man's a sad muppet!

Exclamation

Looks strange a scam to act with his real name and picture.
Does "your friend" reported to police for scamming with financial loss????

He has. But this Myke is so clever..
Most people know that he's afraid of the police.
He keeps running away whenever the police is mentioned in front of him.
Mind you, someone else has put up this post. Have a read! This came from another forum.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Macino was actually offered the capital to do his guaranteed flop. However, if at any time he is asked to sign on to such a business contract, he appoints someone else to do it. According to this particular source, he was offered $10M US to produce that Gangster Wives junker, and told his stooges that he was too busy being his family in Sardinia or Sicily or Greece or some Godfather fantasy scene to close any deals. At last, he fooled someone with his bogus business plan and he's too busy with his "family" to waste his own time. Someone else would have to do it. The real reason? The name "Myke Macino" IS NOT LEGAL. Getting involved in such a deal would require him to furnish documentation that would reveal that he is nothing more than a barber named "Michael Whatever," thus proving he's a fraud. Here is the letter that was forwarded to me.

Mr. Myke Macino
President/CEO/Founder
Macino Entertainment

Dear Mr. Macino:

Earlier this year, we were contacted by Mr. ****** ****, of Global Strategies, Inc., regarding your seeking of funding for your movie products. We discussed your company and your projects, reviewed the information provided, and felt interested enough to send to Mr. Scott on 27 July of this year, a Loan Application from an affiliated company of ours for forwarding to you.

We never heard anything more, except bits and pieces from Mr. **** indicating that you were not interested.

We have the uneasy feeling that perhaps you may never have received the Loan Application from Mr. ****, and that there may have been disagreements or difficulties between your company and Mr. *****; perhaps we are wrong. In any event, we decided to send to you directly, with Mr. Scott's blessing, a loan application that would provide for an initial funding of US$10 million for one film, with provision for raising additional funds for subsequent films. The 4th page of the loan application shows how the loan would be structured, and the annual debt service requirements for netting US$10 million to you.

If this is something that would interest you, we would ask that you fill in the loan application and return it to us either at the e-mail address above, or via fax to 011-506-280-0667 (if from the US). Should there be any questions, do not hesitate to let us know via e-mail, or via telephone, 011-506-225-3958.

Sincerely,

PFM, SA
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you believe it? This guy tried to con a company out of $10m dollars and the bugger is so scared not to signed the contract, he wants someone else to sign for it!
If he did signed the contract, Mr Macino would've been put behind bars!

A clever person never afraid anything, he covers his dirts.
You are mentioning another forum but not which to check it.
We have seen a lot of accusations without evidence and at the moment it seems like this.

Do a google or yahoo search on Myke Macino and Silvertouch Pictures.
You'll see how many forums with his name mentioned.

Please be specific, which known forum do you mean.
I have found some but just with similar like your posts from newbies (what a coincidence) who never posted anything else (another coincidence) than accusations without evidences only against this Macino. Seems that someone has as his only purpose to make such posts.

Found this gem on another forum -

Hi

My name is Myke Macino. I am well known film producer and am working
on a new british feature film called British Gangster Wives.

We are a massive budget film with a Hollywood cast and will be in cinemas
next year. We start film in August.

We are looking for many actresses to play glamorous roles.

You must be prepared to shoot full nudity for sex scenes on film.

If interested please email me back so to arrange an audition. We are
doing auditions across the UK.

At the audition we will rehearse the sex scenes with me and you need to treat
that like it was a real scene and done for real.

Its important you convince me that you want the part and can handle
the filming of the sex scenes at the audition with me

The film will be massive

Yours

There was a guy named Gordon who did it here on MM for two years . He used several names so he may still be doing it .

A dumb ass model I know asked me if I thought she should go for it because the "pay " was good "if" selected LOL

There is a guy in this area who tells girls he needs to personally give them at least three orgasms before they start shooting so he can get them in the right "mood " for the shoot.

Very old scam.

Scam.com's coverage of this--with the same producer name and film name--dates back to 2006, and I'm pretty sure it was old news even then.

Since it hasn't been "updated", it's apparently working...

(His Resume on IMDB is hilarious!)

Yup.

The Stage wrote him up in 2004, and even then, warnings about 'Myke' dated back to 1999.

Craigs List is absolutely full of similar ads, perhaps even less credible, than the one posted. Although Craigs List has the capability of monitoring such scams, or restricting them by, for example, requiring "real" Email addresses from persons posting the ads, the bosses there choose not to do so. They also choose not to respond at all to correspondence from browsers who notice the frauds, or even from victims.
