Default Not all recruiters are bad....

I am a recruiter with a legitimate firm, and I totally understand why everyone is upset about this. I just found out about this scam today, because they were using my company's name. We don't know how they know anything about us, but they are fraudulently using our information. The way to tell the difference is by actually looking up they company they say they are from. Most recruiters will call you, their sites don't require a cell phone #/cell phone carrier, and they won't send you text messages. I find people jobs every day; please don't associate this scam with all recruiters.

Yes, she is at it again. This time she is using something call Extreme Employment. Guaranteed 57,000-68000/yr for administrative aid to senior VP, etc, etc.

Hi michelledempsey,

You are correct that not all recruiters are bad but these people are giving recruiters everywhere a blackeye.

I understand that some people will think or say comments like those of dto2013 and say that these people suck. Well, I don't think that the comment was made to include all recruiters in general just these scammers. So please don't take it personally, people are frustrated (especially those trying to find a job) and are looking for a place to get some relief.

Dear Omegax45

Welcome to 419Legal.

Altho you give us a little info, it seems unlikely they will give you hard time with the personal info in the normal resumes.
BUT if you should reveal your bank account details and/or credit card details, the bank account should be close immediately.
They could empty your account in a very short time.

Best to do is to STOP contacting with scammers and ignore further contacts from them.
