Default Ivory Coast coffee, a scam

Hi Paul,
You have to know that any business proposal that comes from South Africa, Cote d Ivoire, Nigeria, etc is 100% SCAM.

The people who get scammed are usually the arrogant ones because they don`t ask for advice or/and when they are advised they don`t listen.

Today, you are lucky for 2 reasons:
1- You are aware of this web site
2- scammerslammer, Mercenary, knightmare3000 are offering your their best advice.

Remember that the worst thing that can happen you is you get scammed in Cote d`Ivoire and you can`t do any thing about it when it is too late simply because the scammers are more powerful than the government.

For your own and you cousin`s benefit save your 12,000 euros and tell your cousin HOW WRONG SHE IS if she is expecting to gain something from Cote d Ivoire Criminals.

God bless you and save you from falling in the hands of Cote d Ivoire Scammers
fhard

Default Costa Coffee

I received an e-mail from Mr. Butler regarding Costa Coffee. He seems to be in dire need of others to receive checks for Costa Coffee and in return send money Western Union to the corporation. Has anyone heard of this company?
How would a United Kingdom Company get my e-mail address?

Dear janemarie52

This is a Cheque Fraud.
Please read below how they can get your money.

Cheque fraud

If you try to cash the cheques with the bank account under your name,
later within a year or more you will be in trouble.
Because the cheques might be counterfeit or stolen.
And the Bank will ask you to pay the amount back, all which you would have cashed.
(Remember you would have already remitted the cashed amount to the fraudster.
Plus you are involved in a part of fraudulence unintentionally.)
Fraudsters are very fond of using Western Union or Money Gram which is hardly tracable.

Also Fraudsters can easily harvest your email address from some websites
where you have disclosed your email address or registered with it.

Anyone who receives similar email should not reply, don't send your IDs and/or personal data

For your reference, you can find same "costa coffee scam" by using "Search"
which you can find above top in the 1st page of this Forum

The check is fake or stolen. Do not try to cash it, you will be involved to fraud case. Keep envelope and the check and report them to your local police authorities.
The scam may has your name and address but be sure that he will never try to contact you again if you will not try to cash the check and send money according his instructions.
It would be better to post also here details from where did you receive this check and any mail messages from the scam.

Dear loriva
Any attempt to cash money orders is a scam bussiness.
Be aware and keep all evidence to repost them to your local police.
