I'm trying to sell something online at Craigslist and I received this reply:
thanks for your response...i will paying you $1000 for the item,$100 for the shipping and an extra $20 for the insurance...i wish to come my self to see the condition of the item before picking it up but unfortunately i am a disable on a wheel chair.Actually i am buying it for a cousin that works with W.H.O in overseas..please kindly get back with your paypal account email id or send me an invoice for an instant payment.. regards It follows the form of scam emails I've seen but they can't break into my Paypal acct with the email address, can they? After all, Paypal is *for long distance buys, right? It's not "we'll send a check, just mail that item to me" or "please remit shipping charges from the check we send you to the messenger" but something seems weird to me. Legit paranoia or not? |
