Hi,

I recently ordered from dhgate a Office 2007 professional. The seller was trustworthy. He gave me a tracking number within two days of placing the order and the tracking number actually worked on parcelforce website and EMS. When the item came, it was not fake, it had the genuine COA from Microsoft. I opened it and it came with what you get if you bought it here from the UK. So i was happy with the seller and now i am ordering more larger quanities. The key is that you have to spend time looking through all the pages, which can be very tiring but you never know you may find a seller that does do what he is supposed to do and that is sell you what you want. It also helps to read their feedback which is similar to ebay's feedback system, Positive, Neutral and Negative. And if you dont want to risk a large amount of money, you can start of with somethind small. This site supports paying options such as Paypal which i prefer to use.

So take your time and it maybe worth buying on Dhgate.

Many thanks.

A lot of the listings are copied and pasted and the pictures are reused alot too. With that said, I suppose it's possible one of the sellers there with identical listings might have the real thing, but the chances of someone on DHGate having real copies is extremely low.
You may also get lucky and have some of the pirated keys work, then you'll think it's genuine. I had some of my XP COA's verified by microsoft, but they are still fakes as they are volume licenses, and once microsoft blacklists the working keys, they'll start telling you that they are not indeed genuine.

Also, when it comes to feedback, you can't go by that either. It's possible that people who bought from them thought they got real copies, then left positive feedback before realising that they are fakes.
wholesale-outlets.com/ is another website that DHGate has now, and it's supposed to be 'trusted' sellers, so sellers with high feedback, but they sell fakes there too.

I really suggest looking into microsoft.com/howtotell and search google for other ways to verify you actually have real copies. There are a lot of really well done fakes coming out of china. These people shouldn't be supported.

Post pretty much official

umm on dhgate ur nevr supoze 2 use WESTERN UNION for buying... and just about all their clothes and shoes are generic look alikes of the real stuff. kinda like the asian shoe stores that sell fake jordans from china and all kinds of other things(or the "Flea Market"), DHgate is jus like a big internet version of one of those . dont expect anything else when purchasing items.. i just buy items that look identical 2 the real thing.. they have a lot of that.

Default They sells used and damaged conterfeit goods as the real thing China internet

DO NOT buy anything from this website. they advertise authentic apparel and accessories and they put up pictures of the authentic items when, in reality, they do not actually sell them.

Default Paypal Just as bad as DHgate

The only reason I took a chance & ordered from DHGate is because they accepted Paypal. I assumed, incorrectly, that paypal would check a site out before allowing them to use their service. I was wrong, they don't. I also assumed, again incorrectly, that by using paypal I was protected and if there was an issue they would help me get my $ back. it turns out if you use paypal to purchase something outside of ebay their help amounts to " hey can you see what this guy wants?" and if the site you used chooses to say go to hell paypal does nothing. & that's my problem, you trust paypal because, shit I had to go through the ringer to set up my account & to sell on ebay you think that they cover you. But truth is they only care about ebay transactions because they're the same company and anything outside of that your screwed. and if you want to check for your self go to the user agreement sec 13.5 third paragraph and that's where they tell you to go fuck yourself. If paypal is going to allow a company to use their service then they should make sure the company is on the level.

Angry Beware: they are a "front" for vendors who sell junk

Not only do they continue to deal with vendors who sell fakes (Kingston 64gb flash, for example), but they don't refund full amounts paid - with no explanation. I'm sure some of their vendors are OK, but my experience with DHGate was a disaster. I wish I had checked this website before I ordered. DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST !

Angry DHGate is a "front" for counterfeit vendors

I'm sure some of their vendors are legit. But some are not, and if you get one, you're shit of luck. In my dispute I only got partial refund for junk (64gb flash, NOT from Kingston). I complained within hours of package delivery, but only got partial refund with no explanation even after many attempts to find out why. DHGate is a nightmare - deal with them only at your own risk. I hope this warning saves someone my grief.

Dear zeeme101,

This is Fiona from DHgate customer service department.

DHgate is not in favor of fakes. If you have a specified order number, please let us know. We will check items.

It does not matter how buyers pay orders. Dhgate accepts several payment methods. As long as buyers feel it is convenient, they can choose what they like.

THanks for your concern.

Best regards,

Fiona
