I agree... I used DHGate and it was a total scam. I didn't have the problem that the products were not authentic... my problem was that they were used and broken. My theory is that there are many many sellers selling "made in china" warranty returns. I found fingerprints (oily smudges) inside behind the NiCad batteries which tells me that someone took it apart in an attempt to repair it. I figure people are collecting "broken - beyond repair" stuff that makes it way back to the manufacturer in China... and then selling it back to us. I get the 360 degree "bary speak englash" responses that are intended to keep me guessing. Lesson learned on this one.

Dear deeze
welcome to this forum. Unfortunatelly you have learned with a financial loss. Do not blame yourself, take it as a well paid lesson. Read the article "some useful advices" to get aan idea what to do in the future, as also to use the "search" tool of this forum most of the times there is a post about a scam or a scam method.

Yes, I have bought from DHgate and lost my money. Examine the goods first before you release your money to the seller. If the items are sold for extremely low prices, then the item is most likely are counterfeit.
The items I received were very close copies of the Authentic product. Last edited by interscam : 01-16-2008 at 09:56 PM. |

I would have to say yes it is an official site to buy from. It is up to the buyer to check out the feedback of a seller and to ask questions before buying. I personally have made several purchases thru DHGATE with great success and have been very satisfied with the quality of the items. I have had one seller try to rip me off, but the good thing is DHGATE holds the money and does not release to the seller until you say you have received the item and are satisfied.
DHGATE refunded my money promptly. Never pay the seller directly, always pay with paypal thru DHGATE and you can't lose. |

Yes, when you make a purchase from a seller on DHGATE the seller does not get the money until you click the button on the active order that you have received and are satisfied. There is a warning on the DHgate site that says do not pay the sellers directly.
