There is no problem to exist if they are telling the truth that sell replicas. Otherwise are involved to fraud and must be punished.

Exclamation Is dhagte official?

Stupid question. I have used dhgate for just under a year now and i have had no problems with it. If you play your cards right with it and think about what you are buying then there is no problems with it. For example, if you buy electronics from Dhgate then how likely are they to break? Id say very. But if you buy clothing/shoes, then you are more likely to 'pull it off' because, how can clothing break? Around 90% of its items are fake and there are approximatly 1.5m items on there. so thats what, 1.35m of the items are fake! Thats a lot, and the chances are, you are going to buy a fake item from there. Before getting involved in buying any old junk, i would take a look at the sellers feedback score because it takes a big interest in what kind of goods you are buying. so, it is reliable, but not reliable if your looking for authentity.

Thumbs down DH Gate

I had the same problems as some of the rest of you. I truly believed that the products I bought were real. I found out the hard way that they weren't. It depends alot on who you buy from. Like some of the others have said, review their reviews. I had one seller that I had used for a long time. I began the process of dropshipping. What a disaster. He sent a purse to one of my clients that was stained and looked awful. At this point, I was not claiming that the purses were authentic. I tried to get her money back and I saw a side of him that scared me. He threatened my family. The most that he would offer was 20.00. I wanted a new purse sent to her. Anyway, that was pretty much when I stopped dealing with them. I have started again to deal with them somewhat but it is for my own personal use. Now they do not give the money to the suppliers until you indicate that you are satisfied. I do not believe that anything they sell there is authentic. They say that it is but they are not held to the same standards. I would never use them to base a business on.

From your post seems that you are looking forr troubles. I should report threats and should be aware of any further contact with such persons.

I learned on the first try with DHgate had I simply Googled DHgate reviews, I would have gotten LOTS of negative feedback on the site and would have learned. The lesson cost me a paltry $240.00 money spent on a lesson learned. I ordered a lot shipment of 10 microphones, I should have known better, DUH! They arrived, perfect and beautiful! I was elated! Listed them with my photos on Ebay on Monday, 3-24-08, by Friday, they were pulled down and I sat there with egg on my face but fortunately I didn't have to face down an angry buyer. I bought them in good faith, I listed them in good faith, I would have sold them in good faith. I think I will donate them to my local church. Get a little good karma out of this. I thank God I didn't get one sold. I filed a dispute with DHG and PayPal, but I do not hold out any hope. The seller's response was to blame Ebay, and call them unreasonable, (in pidgin english, of course) in fact here is an exact copy of the message I sent to him and his response.:

I have just been informed by the website, Ebay.com, and by the Manufacturer, Shure, Inc. that the microphones I purchased may be counterfeit, as payment has been released to you I do not know that you will be willing to work with me to resolve this matter, my immediate resolution though is to cease any further dealings with you, in specific, and DHgate.com in general this is to protect my interests and the company I created from any litigation, or liability on the matter.

NUMBER ONE RULE IS: "DO NOT PAY BY WESTERN UNION OR MONEY GRAM". I was scammed by Putian City/Fujian Province (China) scammers who advertise on ECVV-they stole $3,000 Australian Dollars from me - the police do NOTHING. P/ment was through Western Union. It's easier to trace fraudsters if you pay into PayPal or an actual bank account. DO NOT USE WESTERN UNION EVER -EVEN EBAY HAVE NOW BANNED IT>when your money is stolen - Western Union don't want to know -
