People! Did you know 95% of everything sold on Ebay is fake? All those people that have stores......where do you think they get their products from? Places like DH Gate and other chinese companies. Some fake products really look like the real thing - and that's how they are able to be sold without any problem. Have you been to "IOFFER.COM" - nothing but fake products. All I can say is be careful when dealing with companies that are overseas.

I am really interested on buying bags and jewellery from DHgate but do not wanna give my money and not receive goods.

I know the items are not authentic but would like some 'fake' designer goods...lol

To those that have purchased from them recommend it??

Hi Golfluvr

Do u simply go buy the sellers feedback when purchasing from the site?

I am really interested but alot of these comments have put me off slightly!

they protect both buyer and seller? BS!!!

when you get the goods, they are fake and fraudulent.

dhgate is all about fraud.

artists who are able to make a living on ebay, have been targeted, because their work sells, and is a sure thing.

please see this thread:

forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?threadID=2000593605&tstart=0&mod=12148 42399756

many many works have been copied, including one (so far) of my own. I do not authorize reproductions, and here this person just scooped one of my images - an ink painting - and suggests it is theirs to do as they will.

I have contacted dhgate - Anne Li, will do nothing.

Default DHgate and Tradetang.com actually the same

Tradetang.com and dhgate are actually all the same. They are sort like ebay serving an escrow services. I don't think they are scam. They will dilute the fraud for you and they even provide a dispute function if you face any problem with the seller on the platform. Try tradetang.com today.

If you pay paypal then it still acts as an escrow payment.
I have found DHgate to be good as I even received a 200 phone that was different as described and it was also faulty and I told the seller I would not send it back and waste more money and she actually refunded the whole amount back to me.
So I got a 200 faulty phone for free but then 2 days later it fell off a table from 1 foot high and smashed in 2 pieces. lol
Chinese copy phones are not good quality.
If you are looking for cheap clothing and jewellery then it is really good as most of the T&Co. jewellery you cannot tell the difference and I have also bought alot of A&F clothing and for 20% off the original price you can get really good clothing provided you select the sellers who have good feedback and make sure you confirm with them that they know exactly what you want.
Alot of the chinese will just agree with you and just send anything if you do not hassle and hassle them about what you want and make sure you tell them if they get it wrong then you will not except the package and they will have to pay return shipping.
Alot of them will also just answer with single words when you have written a massive email to them which really annoys me.
If they dont want to answer questions or are really blunt then just tell them they just lost a sale and then watch them beg you.
You have to understand that they will tell you anything just to make a sale and always make sure that their ad states exactly what you want even if they tell you they have it then make them change the ad so you have back up if they send something else.

HAVE YOU BOUGHT ANY GUIUTARS OR INSTRUMENTS FROM DHGATE? QUALITY?

I do not appreciate the fact that I have wasted good money and have been lied to by these sellers.

My question is this, how do you go about getting authentic items and not copies on Dhgate? Note: I did not purchase cheap products. Also when you bring the problem to the sellers attention what do you do when they refuse to respond and/or work with you to resolve the issue? I have tried contacting customer service without success. Bottom line is sellers on this site NEED to ACCURATELY DESCRIBE THEIR PRODUCTS. Otherwise it gives Dhgate a bad name and it appears to be a place just to get SCAMMED.
