When receiving the items, we looked them over and checked them against "authentic" items on line and could not see a problem. We did request our money back but have not received any responses and do not expect to. DH Gate lies and they ripped us off for $2000.

My gut said it was too good to be true - I should have followed my gut. Lesson learned. Folks, STAY AWAY FROM DH GATE.
I really cant understand how someone would not realise these items are fake, how do you purchase a chanel bag for less than 200 and expect it to be authentic. And I actually think DH Gate is good for the certain reasons, there are a lot of people out there who cannot afford to go out and spend 2000-3000 on a handbag but can pick one up that looks just the same for less than 100 dollars on dhgate. If you are going to try and profit on ebay that is a different story I cant understand how you can purchase a bag for around 100 then probably sell it for over 500 and not realise its not authentic - I think you ripped yourself off for being either in denial or that silly!!!

I do not appreciate the fact that I have wasted good money and have been lied to by these sellers.

My question is this, how do you go about getting authentic items and not copies on Dhgate? Note: I did not purchase cheap products. Also when you bring the problem to the sellers attention what do you do when they refuse to respond and/or work with you to resolve the issue? I have tried contacting customer service without success. Bottom line is sellers on this site NEED to ACCURATELY DESCRIBE THEIR PRODUCTS. Otherwise it gives Dhgate a bad name and it appears to be a place just to get SCAMMED.

WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GOING TO REALISE!!! IF YOU WANT THE REAL THING GO TO THE STORE AND PAY OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR THE ITEM - YOU PEOPLE PAY NEXT TO NOTHING AND EXPECT IT TO BE AUTHENTIC. I CANT UNDERSTAND SOME PEOPLE

DHgate is a new b2c website in China. There are many suppliers on the web, some are good, some are not so good.

If you want to purchase some small commodities such as promotional gifts, dollar items, Arts and crafts, jewelry and accessories, home supplies etc, we suggest you go to Yiwu. AmandaIEC is a professional Yiwu Agent, you can browse its website to know more. AmandaIEC.com, award-winning International Trade Site, permanent Yiwu Market online.

Smile DHGate scams dummies for their money..

Before placing an order, you should attempt to correspond with the seller. Have him assure you that the items are indeed genuine. Pay for the item using paypal or another reputable escrow service only, do not make direct payments to sellers because they will run off with your money. If the item arrives not as described or promised to you by the seller, then file a claim through your escrow company. You will get your money back, but be out shipping costs. DHGate won't do jack to help you out, you have to be smart.

Cool dhgate is good and bad

ok most of the stuff on dhgate is fake, i was amazed by how their louis vuitton bags look so real. LV bags are hundreds and thoundsands of dollars, dhgate has them for less than 30 bucks hellooooooooooo to good to be true unfortunatly this world is not that beautiful. anywayz there are lots of people like me who cannot just go to the store and blow $1000 on a lv bag lucky i can get one good fake one at dhgate and flaunt it around that makes me happy. but if ur gonna be greedy and buy a bunch and make a bussines out of it then danm right ur gonna loose money. dhgate is good if u use it 4 ur own personal use but it doesnt exactly work as a business

Everything you have recommended for buyers to do is correct. DHgate provides an escrow service and a dispute process to protect you, which works great. I agree that you have to be smart. But you can't say DHgate scams buyers. DHgate only provides the forum for you to do business. They have nothing to do with your specific transaction.

It's probably been said before but I am too lazy to read through all the pages.

Do people really think that when paying 18 dollars for an ipod, 20 dollars for a premier league soccer jersey or 20 dollars for a complete DVD Box Set that they get the real deal?

There are some genuine sellers on DHGate but you will have to pay genuine prices to them. I read a feedback on a sellers account just last week. The item purchased was an iPhone for 130 dollars. The feedback was negative and read "It is not the real iPhone, stay away". I was in tears from laughing.

If you are thinking about selling on ebay remember that there is no such thing as easy and fast money. If it seems to be too good to be true it almost certainly is

Default DHGATE.com

I bought an item 3 weeks ago..it came..first i checked the guys feedbacks and they were all positive so i bought it ...the picture looked great item looked flawless needless to say when i got the item it was made of cheap rubber instead of advertised leather...i disputed it..in which became a headache...at the end of the day i had to settle for less money than what i paid...dont fall for that webpage the escrow thing they advertise..in my opinion and experience protects the seller more than the buyer..THE SELLER GOT AWAY WITH IT>>>SO PLEASE BE WARNED...that webpage is a total waste of time and money...

just go with amazon..

The DHgate escrow and dispute system works great. The whole point of the escrow is to protect the buyer. Any time that I had a problem, I rec'd all my money back. You have to make sure that you don't approve the payment until after you see the thing you purchased. That is where you went wrong.
