Default DHgate Experiment gone wrong - BADLY

Hi Folks. As an experiment we ordered 6 watches from 6 different sellers on DHgate, just to see what would arrive. Of the six Sellers?? there are 2 that gave us the watches as pictured and that worked (wonderful). Then there came one watch that was slightly different and runs slow, but still not bad - Now get this -

ONE SCAMMER, (Watchkingdom), SENT US A COMPLETELLY DIFFERENT WATCH -A Cheap alternative - that is in DHgate dispute with no outcome. These scammers say that we should be happy with what we got (I say "if you went into a butchers and asked for a Scotch fillet steak and when you got home you found a Cabbage in the bag - you would not be happy???? Right") At least we did get something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

ONE SCAMMER (Watch-new) SENT US AN EMPTY BOX - Nothing in it whatsoever. Tried to dispute this and DHgate closed the disputed before they could answer and paid the scammers.. SO MUCH FOR ESCROW - WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP Then the Scammer - (Watch-new) -seller, whatever, tells me that "I am a Loafer and a Liar" Up his or her nose for the rent. Took all details from the box except their address and sent it back with no postage.

And your probably wondering what happened to the final watch - Well they advertised this you beaut watch - then (Good_you) said they didn't have it in stock, "pick other watches" they tell us. After repeated "give me my money back" what do you know they say they sent it, but the tracking number does not work with EMS. So you can't get your money back from DHgate. Then the scammer starts again "Choose other watches" obviously nothing was sent. What a LIAR - DHgate say they will investigate - BUT DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH "CAUSE IT AINT A COMIN Honey".

All in all a bad experience with both the sellers and DHgate. Over 60% of the deals were bad (including the watch that was slightly wrong and runs slow)
RECOMMENDATIONS: DO NOT DEAL WITH DHgate and if you must then DEFINITELY NOT WITH THESE SCAMMERS "Watch-new" , "Good_you" AND ESPECIALLY "Watchkingdom" - THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!!!!!!! hope this helps others - OH by the way DGgate ESCROW has not worked and is not working for us - they work for the sellers only - so don't listen to others that say that DHgate ESCROW work for them - its a joke!

Default Some tips for buying on DHgate.com

Hi.

I have read some pretty disturbing messages on here. Most of them are a direct result of poor researching by the buyers themselfs.

The root of this problem lays in the expectations of the retailer and the demands by the consumer. The consumer wants brandnamed for cheap, the retailer wants as much turnover as possible.
The greed is the issue here. But when you stop seeing dollarsigns, you come to the conclusion that BRANDNAMED ITEMS NEVER EVER EVER are cheap! Thats why they were branded in the first place.

If you still like "fast money" than the risk is on your own side.

Yes, DHgate has a lot of sellers with replica's and imitations of various goods. But they also have sellers who do not sell imitations simply cause they sell NON-BRANDNAMED items.

Infact, I am talking to a factory who can make my own brand, my own label. This is possible in China for really low prices.

If you still would like to buy brandnamed clothing (from US if US brand) then you pay a little more and in the end your turn-over will be the same as with non-brandnamed items.
You can also try liquidations from stores that are out of business.

A few tips:

*Dont loose your head. Dont get carried away by the brands and the prices. Stay cool and focus*

1. Make sure your seller speaks good english to prevent confusion
2. Make contact over the phone instead of only email.
3. Ask for a sample order first. Test your items on quality/price.
(if they dont agree of sample order than move on)

If you dont mind buying the replica's than it is your own risk if customs takes it.

Good luck

Yes, DHgate has a lot of sellers with replica's and imitations of various goods. But they also have sellers who do not sell imitations simply cause they sell NON-BRANDNAMED items. I have bought some great quality dresses, wintercoats etc that sold for good profits.

Infact, I am talking to a factory who can make my own brand, my own label. This is possible in China for really low prices.

4. Pay close attention to the SIZES. Europian and US sizes are different from chinese sizes.

If you dont mind buying the replica's than it is your own risk if customs takes it.

Default Litian.hk

As business platform Dhgate not bad, but some sellers on it are bad, because they simply promote like they are selling branded products. Guys try Litian.hk, it is corperate owned online shopping site, they are quite efficient and honest.

Default You get what you paid for!

We sell copied and China made products only, and our price is quite favorable but if you are looking for branded or authentic ones, do not come, you will be disappointed.

Default dhgate

I think the item you bought was not on dhgate is because dhgate delete the item, now dhgate is not allowed to sell replica items on their site , thats why. but as i know on dhgate no authentic items for brand names. if you want to buy authentic better buy from your local store . you can image it is impossible for so low price to buy an autentic products.
we sell very good quality handbags, you can have a look the pictures.

picasaweb.google.com/export12345

we sell at reasonable price for the best quality in China.

Default DHgate

ARE YOU PEOPLE SERIOUS? if you are on here complaining about how the products you got weren't real then i'm sorry to say that you must be slow. i've been on there numerous times and YES, i've seen that some sellers are claiming that their bags are "100% real" and "genuine", but come on.. do you really think that you're gonna get a "real" chanel purse for $20.00? didn't think so.

Thumbs up

i have bought 4 items over the past few months from DHgate and have had no problems at all the sellers have been very cooperative and the items came on time and were extremely good quality for the money. I must admit i wont buy from any seller that havent got any kind of credibility, but the 3 different sellers i use are great and so helpful.
