Post No replies.

I have not received any replies from either Alertpay or this "alleged" company wholesaleclearing. The more I look into them, the more I'm convinced they don't even exist. Definately screwed up on this one...

I received a reply email from customer service at wholesaleclearing.com. It reads as follows:

I apologize for the delay in shipping your DFI LANPARTY UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G AM2, I have already authorized a full refund through alertpay.com, please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to be reflected on your account. I apologize for the delay your full refund has been authorized, we are in the process of shutting down our website and have been having a clearance sale on a first come first basis.

Thank you for being patient & understanding.

Since I had closed my AlertPay account, I emailed them back and told them I could not accept the refund they sent and gave them an alternative email for a new account I had opened. Within 3 hours, I received a reply back and I had the full amount I paid waiting for me in my AlertPay account. I am waiting for the check they are supposed to snail mail me to arrive.

I will certainly let you know what happens. From the time that I initially emailed them, when I first placed my order, it had been about 13 days. I am expecting my refund check in the mail within the next few days from AlertPay. The site, wholesaleclearing.com has already refunded the money into my AlertPay account, I am just waiting for the check I requested to arrive.

This website claims to have 23 units of a very scarce discontinued item that I want to buy one unit of as soon as possible.

The BBB has no complaints from this company, maybe simply because the company is too new.

From what I have read on this thread, I probably should not order the item, but I would like to know if anyone here has any more information about this operation.

EDIT:

From looking for the same item through the website's site map, I just found a listing for the item at a lower price with allegedly 154 in stock. It is all surreal.

Yep, I would not recommend - I wish I would have done more research on the company prior to placing my order. I placed an order on the 25th of April, have sent 3-emails to inquire about the status and have heard nothing. I am going to begin working through the payment company (Alerpay) to seek a refund. Granted it has not been 30-days yet; however, the longer you wait the hard it is to get your money back.

I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Everyone keep posting updates on your success/failure with the company as it will be helpful to all of us.

I placed an order with them on 5/5/2008 for $86.52 before I had read this message board. I normally conduct research on the company prior to placing online orders. I emailed them yesterday requesting a refund because they had not shipped the item and their policy on their website says you can request a full refund if item is not yet shipped. I told them I found a similar item from a local store for much less. I emailed them and received a response in within a few hours. As of today 5/7/2008 wholesaleclearing.com has already refunded the money into my AlertPay account and like shadowcat22 I am expecting my refund check in the mail within the next few days from AlertPay.

shadowcat22 have you received your refund check?

Robin, what e-mail did you use? I have sent at least 5 or 6 e-mails to the company (general@wholesaleclearing.com), to which they never respond?

I digress....I sent another e-mail requesting a refund...and I got a refund within 3-minutes. I am happy about that; however, the website has a lot of good items - wonder how they stay in business if they are so unresponsive and do not ship anything?

Anyway, if anyone is having issues contacting them, he is in the office today (name is Mark)
