I cannot find any information about Tim Carter (guy in photo on website) and it simply directs me to get my credit score, which does make sense if they are truly trying to help people buy a home, but I cannot find anything about this company anywhere. They are not listed with DRE for CA.

I am a bit concerned about an internet website rent to own buy a home. I have received emails from a Tim Carter. I asked for information about his company, He has been vague about his process on rent to own, he continues to ask to pull credit. Does anyone have any information regarding this company, I'm having trouble finding anything and am a bit leary.
Thanks

I had the same email and I wonder the same. click on the link and redirect you to check credit score. I check the address at the end the email it 041( Dougall Ave - Suite 209, Windsor, ON N9E1S3) it is a real address in Canada that belongs to Mortgage Intelligence owner Stephanie Casper that has a email address shopmortgages.ca/ that belongs to Rasha Mouawad. It seems strange.
The fine print on credit check website says if you you do not cancel the membership in 7 days your credit card will be billed 29.95 a month and also you have to request for the 1.00 to be refunded as well; be careful. |

I think this may be a scam, I think its just a website someone setup as an affiliate for credit diagnostics to get people to use their referral ID so they get $$. I went through it (canceled all services immediately after) and ever since Ive not received a single e-mail back and its been a little over 2 weeks. Sent Dan another e-mail earlier today asking point blank if it was a scam, doubt I will hear anything more.

I have also been getting those emails and so I went to a legitimate credit agency equifax and got my score for free (and canceled the account the next day in order to not get billed for a credit monitoring service. I emailed back the credit score number I had and a phone number and no response but I still keep getting the emails. I don't believe I ever got that list of homes either which you are promised to get within a "few minutes"
Steve ![]() Oh and equifax asks for the same information which was possible damaging information such as mother's maiden name. I didn't mind for equifax because I contacted them but this guy no way. |
