I have to say this company is legit. For full disclosure, I've been involved with them for 4 months now.
They are NOT a travel agent license factory. To get the travel agent credentials, such as IATA and CLIA, you must attend the industry training AND achieve minimum sales volume as required by those organizations. I've attended CLIA training and have booked 2 cruises for friends, and I only do this part time, but that has qualified me for CLIA certification. I'll say this again - the company does NOT give out credentials without the appropriate training and sales volume. This is a network marketing company and my focus at the moment is more on building a team than making sales - though I do make sales and have my friends and family book travel through my website. The commissions the company pays are better than the industry average, if the travel booked is commissionable (domestic airfare generally isn't commissionable unless it's included as part of an overall travel package - then it is only sometimes). In the 4 months I've been in the company, I've seen the person who sponsored me quit her job as a real estate agent to persue this business full time. She has been in the company less than a year and has matched her real estate income with this company. One of the other people she sponsored has also quit her job to do this full time. The person who sponsored my sponsor was a vice president at a financial services company and he quit his position once his World Ventures income matched his salary. These are people I know very well and I know their individual situations. If anyone has any questions about the company, please feel free to contact me via Private Message on this site. If you want to speak with any of the people I know who are doing this full time to verify this, I'll be happy to get you in touch with them, and I'm sure they'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. |

World Ventures and I have crossed paths. Since that time I have received so much information both pro & con I don't know what to think!! If they are legit which I am hoping as I have spoken to a couple of folks very high up at great length over the past week and a 1/2 and felt secure. After doing a fair amount of research things started to look a little shaky!! First do they or do they not have a legitimate IATAN # I found a listing with the following # 05584456 but if you go to Check A Code it is not recognized. Then I read they actually only have a TSI # which is a big difference!! I am excited about this opportunity and hope this is the vehicle I have been looking for most of my adult life but I guess I won't know till everything falls into place. Wish me luck!! |

WorldVentures is not a scam. I have recently joined the company and have been totally satisfied with everything I have been a part off. I recently visited the Corporate office in Plano, Texas and was throughly impressed. CHeck out my website and book your travel through there. It is seriously cheap and legit prices, you wont be disappointed. Also, if you are interested in making some money and being a part of this company, watch the videos, and go to sign up. Also about a TSI. WV chose this because they do not sell airfare (issue tickets), they instead link you to other affiliates that sell them. The reasoning is that airfare alone is non-commissionable and therefore they chose to not issue tickets themselves. Since they link you to who has the lowest fare nothing more than a TSI is needed. It is all legitimate. WorldVentures now has over 70,000+ Reps in the USA alone. The convention is March 6-8,2008 where I expect them to announce our international expansion. Best of luck with WV, I have found a home with them and I hope you do as well. Scott |

as you can probably tell from my handle, I just got started with World Ventures. A lot of people have disparaging things to say about Network Marketing, so it doesn't surprise me that even a legitimate company with fantastic products like World Ventures would draw negativity. I don't know about legal terms, I'm not a lawyer. I don't know about the founder's backgrounds really, I just got started in this company.
All I know is this: In the United States alone, 32.18 billion dollars were done in sales in Network Marketing. Worldwide, over 100 billion. Worldwide there are 66 million people in thirteen different countries involved in network marketing. One in eight households in the United States owns a homebased business. One in three households in the United States owns a product made by a homebased business. Travel is a 7 trillion dollar industry. Entertainment is a multi Billion dollar industry. Therefore the travel industry is (in terms of zeroes) one thousand times bigger than the entertainment industry. Lets say that network marketing companies take up one percent of the sales done in travel. One percent of 7 trillion: 70 billion. Lets say there are ten network marketing companies out there and each get an equal slice of that one percent. They all make 7 billion dollars. World Ventures has 75,000 members so far. Lets say it's a utopian world and everybody gets an equal slice of that pie. Every member would get 93,000 dollars a year. Now they don't give out money. You have to work the business, and some work it harder than others, and it's also not a utopian world, but you get the idea of the type of income that you can stake out for yourself. You can say whatever you want, but those are facts. |

No, I read them all. I just believe that you can never have too many people coming out in defense. The very fact that a thread on them exists on a "scam" website draws negative attention. I felt it important to give a few facts, not necessarily about World Ventures, but about Network Marketing in general.

Oh, I'm not trying to say that all companies have an equal share of the pie at all, nor am I trying to say that everyone in this company is earning an equal 93,000 dollars. I'm just giving an idea of what kind of income can be made should people choose to put in the work.

2. World Ventures has partnered up with Archer Travel. An on land travel agency that has been in business for 52 years, more than double what you claim to have been in business. 3. World Ventures is the preffered reseller of MSC. In two years they're the number 1 reseller of Carnival cruises. 4. I just got a discount and upgrade on my trip to New York. 5. I'm going on a Dreamtrip with WorldVentures in June. 6. There are many travel agents involved in World Ventures. In fact, one of the members of my upline used to be an on land travel agent. 7. You're not a travel agent because you pay 399. You still have to take your test that World Ventures trains you to take. 8. The founders of this company put 4.6 million dollars back into developing its technology last year. They're putting 15 million back into the company over the next three years. 9. World Ventures has been featured in two magazines: Your Business at Home (June, 2007), and Success From Home (May, 2008. hits bookstores April 15th). 10. Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki endorse Network Marketing in WRITING, in their book "Why We Want you to be Rich." You know what a Pyramid scheme means? The person at the top makes all the money, and the people at the bottom work their butt off and never see a piece of the pie. That's your 9-5 job. In MLM, there's room at the top, and everybody starts at the bottom. Last edited by WorldVenturesRookie : 03-13-2008 at 08:11 PM. |

You know its funny how you can't even contact anyone in texas at the world ventures headquarters. I think its a rip off to make you pay 400 upfront then 35 a months for what so that you pay for your website upkeep and the big boys up top make all the money the wonder why those four guys have smiles on there face. I mean the website looks good but if someone buys an airline ticket from me i should get a percent of that sale or should i say commission another amway session what a joke.. you make the call its your lose. I would rather spend money to have a website built of my own and make all the money for what i sell this is just some guys that got tired of working for someone else and started a big scamming business..good luck to whoever joins this crapp
