Default Best Courier Service in America?

I get this call and it is from phone number 1 866 680 1253. They say I have a package and I don't know who would be sending me one. They say they are Best Courier Service in America and when you call they say enter your tracking number and say your name and number. Oh yes and when they call you a woman with a heavy Oriental accent calls.

To Ivebeenhad:

It doesn't look as though you have been had yet. I mean, no money has exchanged hands. Right?

I conducted a search for Best Courier Service. A number of links appeared, though nothing on BCS in America. However, I did find an email scam posted by TopGun, a junior member. It sounds similar to what you experienced. I've included it in this Reply, so you can compare notes.

Default Best Courier Service in America

I have also received a phone call from this company, however they were not looking for me they are looking for my mother. They first called my father (who has been divorced from my mother for 15 years). This was a very weird call as my father has only had his phone for about 3 months. When I asked the lady could she tell me how she got his number she just said it was on her call sheet.

This whole thing sounded really strange and I refused to give them any information for my mother. It was the same oriental lady calling.

Does anyone have any information on who these people are. It almost felt like they were a company doing research for a process server, but maybe I am wrong.

Thanky you,

Trying Not To Be Had

This is a wierd one... The caller's name is also Rose...
I didn't know if I could post web adresses..

"called to say they were trying to deliver a package from Sony Electronics and that I needed to pay 69.00 upon receipt. When I informed the caller that I was not expecting a package she stated that I could open it and then refuse to sign and the driver would take it back." Best Courier Company

"Last night at 1 am I received a phone call from a woman named Rose. She was calling from Best Deliver Service out of Seattle. She said she was calling me to tell me that they had tried delivering a package to me but i had not been home. she wanted to know when a good time would be to deliver a package to me. Well she had my old address but not my current one and said it was from Song Inc and that it had been paid for (69.00). I told the lady it was late for her to be calling me about this. She apologized and told me to call her back when i knew of a good time to have it delivered. I told her that i was not to get a package and she said she knew nothing about it except who it was sent from and that it was paid for. It seems like a scam to me and i'm turning it over to Fraud agency." Best Deliver Service

"rec'd call at my girlfriends work, the guy said he had a package from sony that was trying to be delivered to me, wanted to know a better address and time to send the package, i never ordered anything so no info was giving. caller id shows a number for a local ups store, but when i called it the lady said no one from that store called me and it was a ups store and had nothing to do with delivering packages. th number the guy left was 866-601-7263, same recording best courier company in america." farmington ups store

"This woman Rose called my work. My boss refused to give my home number. When I arrived home that evening a neighbor had left a note saying Rose called her to say I had a package. The scary part is I do not even know my neighbors name or her phone number. I called the 800 number back and left my name and number. Rose called on Saturday at 8am. I questioned her over and over. She advised the package was free and from Sony. The package never showed up. I put the number into google and found this site. I want to know how she got my neighbors phone number and my office number." Best Delivery Courier in America
