Hello ---first time here
Hi
Just wondering if this is a scam a person advertises a 2003 cadillac escalade with 94000 kms, and they will ship it to me for 7000.00 He says he is in Spain in the military. and the car is in Calgary Alberta.this was on the Kijiji Ottawa site, and he says that he is insured with e-bay for 20,000. it sounds like too good a deal,

2003 escalade
Hi Bill,
I have the Canadian Armed Forces as well as the OPP looking into this one, let me quess, his name is Sgt. John Fraley...just ask him for the VIN number of said vehicle, it won't come back as a vehical registered to him. I had his ads suspended as well.

Thanks Mercenary. I suspected something might be up...too much information offered, when all we asked was the size of the motor...
They seem to be getting better at their "game" all the time. Luckily, we didn't get caught up in it - thanks to this forum. Cheers! Cindy

Beware of car postings on Kijiji city sites
Watch out for ads advertising luxury cars at cheap prices from a John Frahey who claims he is with Canadian Forces. I'm so glad I googled this name and found this site and also warnings from other folks who have been in contact with him. Thought it was too good to be true.

REPORT ONLINE FRAUD!! Power in numbers

I just posted below...I encourage everyone who has had contact with this guy to contact Phone Busters run by the RCMP. They have received numerous calls concerning John Fraley (jfraley008@yahoo.ca).
