Angry Can Someone Help Me........

HI i'm very new to all of this and am quite shocked at what goes on in this world of ours........
i replied to an ad about a week ago on bikesales in australia...it was for a bike which was selling about AUD$7000 below price. i spoke to the guy who owned the bike but only by e mail, he is in france and the bike is in the UK free shipping ect. As what seems the usual response they have the bike in custody, this is transcargo united kingdom......they sent me an e mail telling me to send AUD$2500 through western union and to send them the 10 digit number....unfortunatly for me i did and i feel so goddamn stupid and its my own fault, i know i won't see the money or this bike........
they gave me a tracking number everything and then i get this email from bikesales telling me that they had to remove to ad of this bike due to fraud and other things.....you can imagine how i felt........
but the strange thing is they keep replying to my emails telling me thats its not a scam or fraud and i will receive the bike in 3 days and that it was shipped out yesterday....i even keep getting e amils of the seller (gregory sorenson) telling me everything is ok and i will be getting this bike
he told me that he removed the ad a while ago because other people were using his ad to try and scam people.........i'm just wondering if this is ligite or not because if not i want to try and shut him down before he scams anyone else......cheers everyone
