Default Possible Scam

Dear jayesh181

Welcome to 419 Legal.

This seems like an "Employment related Scam" since they have sent an email from Nigeria
and all emails been sent from and received by free email service.
So it would be better to STOP contact with the company and NEVER inform your personal infos with the detail CV
and your bank account details to them for the time being.

Even if they approved to send you the allowance via Western Union, it could possibly be a bait to lure you out.
There would be less chance to receive the allowance, instead you will be in danger to reveal your personal details
with International Passport, Driver's License, Social Security Card, Insurance Card and/or Present Employee's Card etc
which can be easily utilized in another scam. Do you want to be involved in the ring of fraudulence?? I don't think you want!!!
.
Chasing easy money would often end up by losing your hard earned money.
It is BEST to stay away from the company and forget about the job opportunity at this stage.

Default Thanks

Dear emersible cute

Thank you for your post and welcome to 419Legal.

Grad to hear you reach this forum to determine what it was.
If you are skeptical about something, it’s a good habit to follow your guts and check everything,
especially to check where an email comes from by using the full headers at first hand.
Plus do google search. Any search engines are very helpful to avoid to be scammed.
Please keep on investigating and searching!!!

Default Am I in risk of being harmed in anyway ?

About this scam related with Chef Platinum Industries, I also received their offer of a Job Contract and sent my Internationa Passport number, my current address and my signature (but not my bank account). This Forum saved me from doing that, just in time, thanks.

Question: How in risk I am of being harmed?, to which extend? Economycally or otherwise?

Thanks a lot for any comment/help.

Some of your questions were already replied as follows.

Above explains the situation very well and worth to heed it.

In addition, you seem not to reveal your bank account details, then you would not be harmed economically.
Also scammers are normally miles away from your home, so you would not be physically harmed either.
But if they have some extent of the personal details, it is not impossible for them to create a fake credit card under the person's name.

Finally and basically it is worth noting that scammers are very fond of gross negligent people.

Default Chef Industrial Conglomerate

Dear Lesya

Welcome to 419Legal.

It is a bit difficult to say something about it without checking your email received,
but “Chef Platinum Industries” seems like changing their (fake) company name to "Chef Industrial Conglomerate"????
Would you post your email, with full headers (minus your email address and name in it), to let us more look into it?
Please copy the email and click on “Post Reply” and paste it to big window as same way as you posted 2 previous messages.

Thank you for your cooperation.

However if the content of your email is similar to the one from “Chef Platinum Industries”, it is yet fishy enough.

There is no doubt now that this is not a real job offer . After going back and rereading the contract that was sent to me with this new name , I found one place that they screwed up and left the old name . Don't even waste your time replying . They wrote to me three times . I just asked them what time it was in Nigeria , and all contact stopped .
