Default Acai scam. please help!

I have recently put on a lot of weight and was searching through the internet to find a 'miracle cure'..
I have heard of tablets called Acai tablets that are suposed to work, so I was looking them up
I started to go through the process of applying for the 'FREE' 30 day trial, and then noticed you have to put your bank details in. Well, i dont like putting my bank details over the internet, so i closed it down there..
Thing is, I had already put my name and address and telephone number, so a few days later, they rang me.. They asked if I would like to finish off my form over the phone, So I stupidly agreed. I gave them my bank account details and they told me that I get a 30 day time limit in which to try them, and if i want to cancel, do it within the 30 days.
She gave me a toll free number and told me who the payments would go out to if i wish to keep getting the tablets, and that is GHS Health Store.
I have not yet recieved my order, but I decided the day after that phone call that I didnt want to go through with this because i had looked through the internet and found lots of posts from people saying this is a scam.
I tried the toll free number,,,
(not even sure what that means to be honest) which is ... 1310 359 1213 and it just comes up as a none existant number. Am I doing something wrong? Do i need a specific dialing code?
I wanted to know if there is anything I can do about this now before it is too late and tehy start taking monies out of my account?

Thanks

Angie

Default

I just want to add that this company have now taken the £3.11 out of my bank for their postage. So I went into the bank and asked them to stop any further payments to this company. They informed me that they cannot do that as I have engaged in an ongoing contract with them
All they can do is contact the company and give them 31 days notice to stop taking payments from me as i am cancelling. And if after the 31 days they take any more payments, the bank will then be able to try to claim the money back off them I just hope and pray i do not lose a substancial amount in the mean time,, and whats to say they will not just keep taking and ignore the banks request for my money back?
Has anyone else been scammed by this?
Id love to hear what you done..
Thanks
