Hi.
Somebody using this site is trying to trick people to pay some escrow service, when buying cars from mobile.de

Here is a snippet of the email I've got from them:

Well, thanks for posting this. I also found a very tempting offer on mobile.de and asked for more information about the car. Then i received an e-mail from George Palmer with exactly the same content. Damn it! I knew it was too good to be true!

I am so very relieved that i decided to dig something about that "shipping company".

Can we do something about this? Send this information to some agency?

The vehicle is in good condition, has no technical damage at all, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects. It has title of ownership, cleared of any obligations or fees and comes with all the documents you need to register it.You will not have to pay additional taxes for this.

I'm trying to sell it at this price because I don `t use it anymore (the steering wheel is on left side and it' very difficult for me to drive it), it `s a pity to keep such a car and not to use it. I replied asking more informations, but - without any decent quotation / precise reply to my questions, I got this:

Hello everyone.

As a first I'd like to thank all of You for posting this topic. I also found nice offer considering a car, which was at the lower price than normal ones (Toyota Yaris) and it seemed to me to be quite safe to use a delivery company. Nevertheless I tried to look it up on the Internet and I came accross this forum. In fact, I got the same first email, as Robert got (from Mr. Richard Swann). Then I answered to this guy in German (since he claims to have worked in Germany for two years), that I am not sure of this transaction 'cause I read this site (I aslo included a link). However he replayed as if he hadn't read my message - I got the second email, which also You have already mentioned here - he's paid for delivery company and doesn't want to change his mind and loose money. So, probably even he doesn't reply on emails, but just use some software and send same ones to everyone. I wish some law could do something with this sort of people, who cheat others with no hesitation.

Thanks once more. Here I'll some warning in Polish to prevent Poles from using these companies:
Firmy takie jak ptitransport-uk.co.uk, pti-transport.co.uk oraz K & D Delivery LTD Fake (kddeliveryuk.com) są najprawdopodobniej nieistniejącymi firmami, które mają na celu wyłudzenie od Was pieniędzy w zamian za usługę sprowadzenia samochodu z Wielkiej Brytanii, co prawdopodobnie nigdy nie będzie miało miejsca. Są one "wynajęte" przez człowieka, który chce sprzedać samochód, używany w Niemczech (bądź innym kraju na kontynencie). Człowiek ten przeprowadził sie do UK i ze względu na to, że nie może z niego korzystać (kierownica nie p tej stronie), chce sprzedać po okazyjnej cenie. Jeżeli natknęliście się na takie ogłoszenia, to pamiętajcie, że ten sam człowiek w tych samych warunkach chciał już sprzedać Fiata Cromę, Toyotę Yaris i za każdym razem przesyła maile takiej samej treści. Życzę braku układów z nim i pomyślnego poszukiwania innego samochodu.

@ Krzystow Welcome, Cześć, podziękowanie was dla waszej poczty, która będzie pomagała innym ludziom widzieć, że to oszustwo!
Chciałem by zapraszać was wywiesić w języku angielskim i glansować na międzynarodowej stronie (związek niżej) internetowej, mamy pogląd ludzi polerowania na naszą stronę internetową i to pomogło by, jeśli oni mogli widzieć waszą pocztę w języku polskim!
Nie mówię Polskim tak jakakolwiek pomoc była by dobrą, podziękowanie was
