Default scam or real hoodiaphen.com

I placed and order on hoodiaphen.com and when I tried to contact them, all of my attempts came back with fatal errors with no luck of canceling my order short of contacting my bank. I can't find any information on this site at all!

This was a real eye opener for me. Has anyone else heard of hoodiaphen.com?

Dear jgel

Welcome to this forum.
Reading carefully their own site main page you will see that even NBC news look that have made a statement
QUOTE
"Can a cactus plant be a magic bullet for dieters? Prickly bush in the Kalahari Desert could be key to weight-loss success... Could a plant from South Africa be the weight-loss secret that could help millions of overweight Americans slim down? NBC News correspondent Janet Shamlian talks about the possible magic pill we've all been waiting for."
UNQUOTE
there is also another statement that makes clear that
Indvidual results may vary. Please seek the advise of your physician before starting any new diet. HoodiaPhen is reccommended as a part of a sensible diet and exercise program. No statements made on this site or linked to or from this site have been evaluated by the FDA.

I suggest you to stay away

I did not see you say that you had success with product or you received product; it mentioned you cannot contact them....so I should stay away??and save the $....i just wanted to be clear....I am a nutritionist and some of my clients want a little help with the meal plan...and this could be a boost...but not if this company has a bad rep...it would give me a bad rep.
Just need some clarification....thanks

Dear Fedup

By the nature of this website, I can suggest you below only....

Any legit merchandise websites must have

(1)A toll free number to ask questions, or place an order
(2)A physical address of the company
(3)Independent testing of their products for purity, contaminants, etc.
(4)A defined refund policy.
(5)A better business bureau seal with a link to the bbb site
where you can learn about the credibility and rating of the company
(6)A customer service phone number, not just an email address

Plus with regard to the health/diet supplement,
FDA rarely gives statements to such product as does to prescription drugs.
So consumers must protect themselves by careful investigation before obtaining the product.

You are charged in your credit card? Have you kept copy of your order? There are also two possibilities. Wrong amount charged from the card or is a grey advertisment if other cost is mentioned and charged other. In both cases you may ask refund .

Exclamation HoodiaPhen

I ordered a sample...a few days before it arrived, I went for a check up and was diagnosed with high blood pressure - told "do not take this product"...so, I attempted to email - failed attempts - you CANNOT email them. The sample arrived and I called the number on the package - merely a fulfillment center but, they gave me a customer service number 888-527-0870 - I got into a voicemail box and left a detailed message that I had ordered the sample but, in the meantime had been instructed by my physician not to use the product and I would keep the sample when it arrived but, please do not send any more and do not charge my account. Well, they did ....$149.95. So, I called back and "Reggie" answers - I begin to explain and he rudely and semi-ignorantly interupts me to say I obviously did not read the terms and conditions - I assure him that I had and that I had notified them in the time stated in order to cancel - he said, "not by email" ...at which time I left him know that you could not respond to the email from them, nor did it list an address that would accept an email - he went on to more or less say "too bad". I explained that I would be happy to return the product unopened and would he please just credit my account - he said "we will not accept returns of any kind - they will be refused" and "we will not credit you any amount" - cut and dry - I asked him how he could determine this was proper business practice and he said they have been doing business for 18 years ....I told him that I could see a business being around for 18 years by the robbery he was committing....mixed this with a few expletives as by this time he had me mildly ticked off. 60 Minutes or someone needs to air this crap and cause the demise of the joint. Warn everyone....I still can't believe how stupid I was !

Default Hoodiaphenripoff

I clicked on the hoodiphen link from a repitable sight and ordered the product cause I was excited and then realized "hey what did I just do". In the past I've ordered an item and they were charging my debit cc $15 each month until I later realized it. The company was very hard to contact and when I went to my bank they weren't much help except for telling me to close my bank account. After endless research I got a contact email and sent them a letter that stated I worked for a law firm that would be happy to take them court. They sent me an email back stating the charges would stop.

Well, today I just ordered the hoodiphen from hoodiaphen.com and then in the process or researching what I just ordered I came upon this sight and saw what happened to a few people who were ripped off by this company.

I immediately contacted my bank and asked them if I could stop this order from processing. The guy told me that I would have to (a.) dispute or (b.) cancel my debit card (credit card). I opted for cancelling my credit card, becuase that is the only access they have to my bank account and with it no longer activated they will not be able to continue charging me outragious fees. So the only fee I pay is $4.95 and I still get to try the product, hopefully that doesn't put me under. Welp, a waiste of $4.95, but, better $4.95 than $495.

I bank with US Gank and if you're charged a large fee like $495 and you only have $490 in your account and then you overdraft, US Gank will continue to overdraft your account, reject every payment your trying to make which in turn those companies will charge you a returncheck fee. So, be careful if your planning on purchasing this item. You may learn more than you need to.
